Personally, I wouldn’t consider trines or sextiles to nodes as important unless the nodes conjunct another planet, or there were other karmic aspects in place. Then, I would interpret the trine or sextile as a supportive aspect, with the conjunction being the “main event.” Conjunctions to nodes are the most important. Squares can be considered, but again, just as a verification of sorts. A IP: Logged |

Well his North Node is Conjunct my MC, square my Jupiter and trine my Venus. So yes, I would consider it to be a supportive aspect in our case.
