I will only consider the aspects between planets since we don't have the time of birth for him.

His Sun and Mars being in Libra which it's your 7th house it's a great sign of attraction. this would show him being very interested in you , and you in him, and might even push being in a relationship with you with his Mars there.
Moons are trine by sign which is a good sign for understanding each other.
His Venus in Scorpio is conjunct your Sun and also you are an Aries ASC.

His Saturn it's conjunct your Venus and this it's a binding aspect, although it might feel a bit cold for you, especially because you have Mars in Libra in the 7th- or close to 7th house - and you might need some passion in your relationship. Can you elaborate on his venus being conjunct my sun? People say Venus in Scorpio turns into obsession and possessiveness and maybe even jealousy issues but he doesn’t seem to be that intense.
Why does my Saturn being opposite his Venus shoe heartbreak for him? I assumed I’d be the one heartbroken in the end lol

I'm seeing that you have Mars square Venus in the natal chart. Mars it's the ruler of your ASC and Venus is the ruler of the 7th house. So you might like this kind of interaction in relationships. Like pursuing, going back and forth. It depends on the people involved too. That's why we attract people with similar charts. You're a Scorpio too. And Scorpios like the crisis oriented situations ). I was with one for years and he was playing some games on me so he can verify if I still love him. ))

He will be the one hurt because it's his Venus that's opposite your Saturn. In this scenario, Saturn would do it.
