Long-time reader, first time posting!

My current partner and I have a Vx conjunct NN conjunction in Cancer and they both are in our 8th house. Our Vx's are also conjunct.

Is this enough information to inquire as to how we can both help each other grow into our own personal soul's evolutions?

It's interesting as this has definitely played out as what I've been reading these vertex/NN interactions.

We both first met when I was still pregnant and with the father of my daughter. We had just crossed the country to hopefully buy a house to raise our baby in out this way and stayed at a motel for 3 weeks while I was 34 weeks pregnant. He was the handyman at the hotel and I still remember the feeling of electricity when I first saw him. It was so intense I could barely talk to him for the longest time.

Fast forward about a year and a half and the father of my daughter leaves me (definitely a karmic connection). My whole life is uprooted. I'm across the country, away from friends and family and the family I thought I was building is no longer. I started therapy and built myself back up again.

It's as if the separation made my world expand - instead of feeling isolated and unseen like I had for years with my ex, all of sudden I was held and supported by the most beautiful community of human beings and I formed my own wonderful group of friends that  share a lot of similar values.

The handyman and I ended up going out for a date at the end of summer and we've been seeing each other ever since. At the time we also had a Venus and moon conjunction to our Vx in our progressed charts (we both are 6 degrees sag rising!).

We do have a lot of squares, and he also has a lot of Uranus energy. HOWEVER - we also have:

sun conjunct moon (albeit my sun is inconjunct moon natally)

ASC opposite moon (7H)
ASC opposite sun (7H)
Sun 1st house over lay
MC conjunct MC
ASC conjunct ASC
Moon conjunct Jupiter (11H)

It's hard to say if this has staying power, but honestly, all I want is a conscious relationship with growth.

Is the Vertex conjunct North Node significant and how does one tell if the other is ready to embrace whatever teachings the other has for their soul's growth - if that is indeed the reason the universe brought these two together?

Thank you in advance for your time

Definitely significant, but you need to check the rest of the chart to see how the relationship will pan out. This aspect is a significant context but it won’t improve the relationship by itself; the dynamics between you are indicated by the planets.

I had this aspect double whammy with someone- his vertex (and Mars) conjunct my north node, and his North Node conjunct my Vertex (and descendant.)

I fell in love with him. It was absolutely karmic, or dharmic. It didn’t work out, and unfortunately that triggered a very deep depression within me. This was also as Pluto exactly squared my sun. Honestly the worst time of my life.

He didn’t hurt me, I know he loved me, and after I came through that period of my life, I knew it was for the best. I faced my deepest fears of rejection and not being enough, being not worth love, dead on, and that period directly strengthened my spirituality and faith in God. I am stronger, more aware of my Self, and I will always hold him in high regards. He didn’t hurt me, it was just rough timing (and Pluto.)

Good luck! I hope you’re story ends better than this one— but again, I know this was “meant to be.” I am now encountering similar themes with someone else, and I KNOW the lessons I learned with him are being applied now.

It damn sucked at the time, but I was purged and renewed. In my highest good.
