Knowflakes,In Venus conjunct Mars synastry, who feels the attraction more? What been your experience? According to Robert Hand, quote:

Oh I haaaaaaaaate how astrology in the western lens has an absolute obsession with romantic synastry. It is so violent to our ability to have intimacy on any other level with anyone.Platonic connections exist! Non romantic exists! We are DESPERATE as a species for it! (Well, namely in the West). Venus/Mars connections can be wonderful in any connection- but it wholly depends on the context of the people involved, and their personalities. For instance; an employer and their employee! This can make for a wonderful working relationship! Lots of leeway, care and encouragement to work together. In fact, I find the MOST trouble comes through this aspect when it IS romantic or sexual. This is where we have our unconscious patterns take charge, and with Mars and Venus .... This can get messy. Aphrodite and Ares were mad for each other, but it was ignorant, selfish and a massive 'f-ck you' to everyone else in their lives. This aspect needs WORK to last, and often it means a healthy dose of boundaries and respect. Otherwise, have fun with a fling and move on. -R IP: Logged |

To memory, this has been the third time meeting a person going through Mars transit Venus. In the beginning it's friendly, we get along fantastic, there are not sexual undertones. Almost overnight, things go left.IP: Logged |

it's a very strong attraction depending on the genders. If it's the mans Mars conjunct womans Venus, then he will pursue her to no end. It's a perfect match in terms on how the feminin sexuality and masculine sexuality blends. It's perfect from the start. They both feel and respond perfect to the pace of the other. If it's in reversed, the guy will be irritated with the pursue of the woman and probably will no go anywhere, although it could happen here too.If there are not other grounding aspects to show a long term relationship, then this will only be a short passionate relationship. Threesome.There were three of us involved in this; Nine, Virgo, Aqua. We worked together. When I met Virgo my pVenus was 15° Cancer conjunct his nMars 15° Cancer. He was easy to talk to and push around - I liked that. I wouldn't say I was attracted to him romantically or sexually, though his energy was fun in the beginning. As his personality unfolded I realized he annoyed me immensely - he has moon in Scorpio. Three months in Aquarius entered the picture. Aqua was the one experiencing tMars conjunct nVenus. I liked Aqua from the start and things were developing fast. Virgo, a person I'd stopped talking to and ignoring for months started actively blocking this connection. I recently met a person experiencing tMars conjunct nVenus. My pMars happens to be conjunct their nVenus. So we have Mars conjunct Venus. This isn't a person I'd consider handsome, or hot, or sexy. I still liked his personality and could see us as friends. However, I believe he doesn't like me much...and that's okay. In recent developments, I've been overcome with jealousy whenever I see him with others. This emotion really snuck up on me, as he's known these people for months, now suddenly I don't like it.

i’m trying to think of all the instances i’ve been either planet. there’s thick attraction and sexual tension between the two, not feeling. though i think venus notices morewhen i’m mars, i’m fairly clueless about what it is i do that is deemed so attractive, adored by venus IP: Logged |

I felt no attraction, and I was surprised when he hit on me. He tried to tell me that I was smarter than my sister (his girlfriend), and my mother, and I told him that wasn't true... then he tried to get me into bed, and I walked away, fast. My Venus was conjunct his Mars. He is gross. I didn't understand my sister's attraction to him, before he hit on me (more than once). IP: Logged |
