In my opinion such transit may lead to the ultimate and secure closure between the couple… they might be even more sure about having done the right thing.

It depends on how the Venus is aspected in their composite. Does the Venus look happy or unhappy?Generally an opposition is a difficult aspect unlike the trines and sextiles. Also check your individual Venus in natal. Is it also being hit by transit Saturn?
