Hi,

What exactly would you think this means? Looking for the explanation of this aspect, articles usually say that there will be some aggressiveness in the relationship, may be violence, fight for dominance or so... but I've always thought that Descendant and 7th house symbolizes primarily what his/her Venus loves on the other person, which parts of partner's personality are so attractive that this bond may be strong enough even for life-lasting relationship?

So, woman having man's Mars conjunct her Descendant - that should be pretty strong sexually, correct? She sees him as a man she was looking for...?

Thanks

Yes, it would be quite sexual, she would feel the sexual heat from him even if she wants to hate him. There is a lot more to checking for Soul Mates though. This aspect is just a lead.

I've got this as a double whammy with a new friend I just met, so I'm looking for more information.

I've had it and it is yummy!
Not as strong as Mars on the Asc, but a good runner-up.

Yummy HOW? Does it mean that the moment we meet we will not be able to keep our hands off of each other? Should I just surrender to a relationship of pure lust and forget the formalities and "playing hard to get" and get to know you" for a relationship? He's a Taurus, what if I want to keep him?? hehe

We've also got a grand cardinal cross in the composite and he and my daughter have a grand cardinal cross in the composite so I am wondering if this is going to be something I should be extremely careful to regulate.

I wouldn't be scared of the cross, some of my best friends have made a cardinal grand cross with me in synastry, involving maybe 7 + planets, and it was a ride in the park, we always got along...so i don't understand that business....squares *alone* depending on the planets involved and how they are natally are one thing, but a big aspect formation, like a grand trine or cross etc is really not that bad, in my experience..prob cos it introduces the opposition which is not as tension inducing as the square, the oppositions work to balance it all out.

Anyway the mars on the dsc is nice, it's a natural attraction factor, just look at what other aspect their mars is making to your chart and theirs.

I have this aspect with a man who is a long-time friend with whom I have a very new budding relationship. My Mars conjuncts his Descendant in his 7th. Ours is a little more of a jumbled mix because we have my own Mars-Asc conjunction with his Mars-Desc conjunction. That's a heady mix of energies, but I'm starting to be able to distinguish them a bit.

An example of one way my Mars on his Desc expresses itself is by wanting to partner up with him on anything he does. I mean, if I see him raking the leaves or shoveling snow, then I have an overwhelming urge to grab a rake or shovel and stand right beside him and start doing the same thing he's doing. It's very literal, too. I don't want to just be near him or in the vicinity doing the same thing. I want to be actually side-by-side in a Libran scales 7th house way. Also, standing at the sink doing dishes right next to each other. I want to physically be by his actual side.

Another factor is the opposition of my Mars to his Asc. He's a Capricorn Asc. and when I see him wearing a suit for work, it sets my Mars OFF. I don't normally care about guys wearing suits. A Henley is usually more my thing. His Cap Asc is just at the right degree to hit my Cancer Mars, though, and him in a suit is straight up IT! He wears a suit like only a Capricorn can wear a suit. IYKYK.

BIG energy response. Mars is action/willpower. I joke that it's how we use the force in our own body (not to be confused with say Mercury, where we use the force mentally )...

Mars CAN be sexual attraction, but only if you actually vibe with the person. Sometimes it can be an immediate dislike, the BODY responds to interactions with the person, not necessarily just their presence.

7th House/Descendant is more about interactions with intention than just being in the presence of another. It's the connection!

I have this aspect natally.. right on the cusp conjunct Pluto and NN. This is probably the best description I've seen. Spot on. In relation to synastry, the person on the receiving end would probably feel it more unless other natal and synastry aspects alter it.

I also believe the house Mars rules in the natal is very important as well.

Agreed. Also how Mars is configured in the individuals chart as well. If I have issues with my Mars, it stands to reason that I will be bringing these issues to you by conjuncting your DC. 😬😅
