My best friend has had a really tough time dating. She lost a lot of weight, so she has quite a bit of loose skin and is rather "melted and droopy" (her words, not mine). She's been strung along twice now. The biggest one ended after an entire year after a conversation where he admitted in so many words that he forces himself to be attracted to her body because he's attracted to her in every other way.

Also mercury, uranus influenced harshly by neptune or vice versa. Just a guess. Idk what professional one's may say. I just feel neptune can sell dreams and obviously dissuade someome against something "so right" too. Mercury as a trickster, in the right dynamic with neptune could cause delusions of grandeur or lack, as in someone isn't "perfect enough". Possibly venus may under some instances have superficial spin, where nobody's natural defects are exceptable.

Now I understand it's your friend but the issue truly is in the end of the man whom overlooked her based on superficial reasons. This could be his own feelings of self worth or he might care too much "what would *they think *". This is a people pleaser behavior and it generally leaves the native looking for what might be unrealistic for intentions beyond their *own* interest.

Aspects that might have transited his chart may have been uranus, neptune, Saturn a definite possibility. Cold, sterile in some cases. A harsh jupiter transit even the moon. I'd need to study one or both charts to understand the full picture. Mercury with Virgo tendency to be critical too.

I have known mutable Sun people whom had huge hearts but their need to please friends, family, work associates etc.
had them question their own hearts and abilities to love, deeply. Beyond superficial.

Venus semi-square mars in synastry for example. Both would be attracted.. but the feeling has to be "triggered" and/ or it comes and goes.. instead of being a steady flow..

quincuxes would be like a repulsive attraction.. you don't quite get "it".. but you can't stop looking at it either.

I would add all minor aspects actually lol. Applying small orbs only of course.
