Topic: Why we can never express our emotions to each other?

I've been seeing a guy for 2 months now, we hang out maybe once a week and we are moving incredibly slowly (all we have done is kiss once and hug). We were seeing each other for a few months over a year ago as well, but he actually got back together with his ex-girlfriend after we fizzled out. He says he has relationship trauma and wants to take things slowly/intentionally with his next partner since he had a past of rushing into things very quickly. It seems like we have an undeniable tension/connection/whatever, but neither of us are saying anything about it and are treating the connection very lightly despite this heaviness I and I assume he, too, feels. Our synastry is very heavy, and our composite chart is similarly very intense. Can someone help me understand why things are moving so slowly despite the intensity?Synastry:

1st thing I noticed was Saturn square Venus in synastry.Guaranteed buzz kill. There's also a hard Saturn-Sun aspect in composite also. This could definitely be one of the causing factors. IP: Logged |

He does have some traumatic events by now in relationships with Mars on the DC and Venus in Scorpio.He doesn't lie about that. You should be able to express feelings. Your Moon is in his 7th whole sign house and his Sun in your 7th house in Sag. Maybe he's still going through it. He's a Pisces ASC, he is normally going to be impacted emotionally by this. It's not going to be as expressive or moving forward so easily. Normally, without astrology, this is a red flag that you dated him before and he went back to his girlfriend and now he's back in ur life. A past behaviour will repeat itself. That's for sure. I wouldn't do it again, but do as you think it's best for you.
