I feel your pain and confusion - I am sorry you are going through that Sending you some healing thoughts and I hope you will feel better soon. I experienced something similar and it was traumatic - it's so difficult when someone can't even give you clear answers. Usually such people can't even deal with their own issues in a healthy and mature way. He is 42 and doesn't know what he wants, ughh. Apparently that's not uncommon.

I don't have much time now... but from my limited experience, the first thing I look at in a synastry is the Moon. His Mars squares your Moon and his Uranus opposes your Moon. Mars sq Moon is quite harsh for your emotional needs. Also Uranus opp Moon is unstable for long term relationships. I see some stabilizing aspects, but I guess that wasn't enough You don't know his birth time so we don't know where his Moon is exactly, but I do wonder if it might be squaring his Jupiter+Saturn conjunction. I think Moon in Capricorn is stable but in harsh aspect with Jupiter and Saturn it has hard time finding a balance - going overboard one moment, and then completely withdrawing the next.

Sorry you've been through this too.
I'm having a hard time with it and just trying to find anything I can to rationalise it, including astrology, to help me move on.

I feel awful for you. I felt your disappointment and it seems you were very tolerant of what were his wants. He unfortunately didn't bring much to a decisive way to go. He danced about re fwb imo.
This is observation not judging. I am looking at the transits and might keep looking but right off the tr nodes are opposite each other for you as a blending energy/ midpoint.
I see he feels a need to separate when seeing it this way, as Mars as well is tr around nodes vicinity .,. This makes me feel his desire in this union may have waned. Especially the location where it is. Some men are about the hunt/chase. Once they achieve their w8n, they lose gusto. Not always. I was going to study the tr Uranus. I'm curious of how midpoint +transits appeared when you started seeing each other.

The midpoint has a lot of mutable energy which makes me feel the stability was weak and Saturn in pisces via tr might have nudged his going after you to a less involved stance. Very mutable and not a geprowth, building feeling with him here.

Thanks MoonMystic. We met in person for the first time on 30 June 2023. It was like a dream come true up until 13 August, when his energy suddenly shifted.
It's just that surely there has to be something significant in this union, if I am feeling this way about him and only him (other than my ex husband).
No other man has even come close.

I was very happy in my life before I met him, so I'm having a hard time trying to understand why he came into my life to begin with if there was no point, or it wasn't meant to be.

Is there possibility for re-connectiin further down the line? I take my feelings and intuition about this man very seriously, so I am willing to forgive and move on if there is that hope?

Tr saturn isn't far, though it was before too cnj your combined mercury. Bringing a colder communication, less affection, interest in collaboration.

Can you look at the pdf sheets and see if anything in parallel/ contra parallel with declination placements?

Looking at certain transits, I think you feel a connection you can't let go because two may not be finished. Tr Chiron is edging towards your combined sn. This seems to be a connection that could take off again maybe? Tr Mars might cnj pluto and bring a more h3ated energy. Those two transits could reignite this connection.

tChiron on SN won't occur until July next year so I wonder if he may reach out to me after a period of no contact.

By the looks of these declinations, his Neptune seems very involved. Which might bring a disillusioned glance in this connection. Which might be powered further by the mutable energy. I'm curious how those transits looked when he chas3d you. As well do you believe in twin flames? Could this dynamic have even a runner, chaser one? He might show interest and maybe you ran?

I don't know alot about twin flames, but from what I do know- I don't feel this connection has those kind of characteristics?
I feel that venus rx had a lot to do with why he changed his tune.

I did reach out to him last Saturday and we met and had an incredible time. But I don't want to chase him anymore. I told him he can message me if he would like so I will be curious to see if he ever does

Then the retrograde in that change wouldn't stick imo. Maybe study your venue's both independently and blended. He might be reevaluating his values, Taurus energy.

I wanted to tell you my first love has been telepathic with me a long time, though we didn't end well. Reason I'm Sharing this, is because like you, I was selective of those I considered marrying. Atm he too in midpoint with me & transits has the nodes meeting in the celestial space.
Ours are NN/tr NN cnj and SN/tr SN - he's unnerved currently of our failure and the loss of what we once were. Life has not in my case made we want him again, our story is different.

Your person might have been short lived with you but that powerful emotion you feel, he may not recognize so easily or quickly. I believe he will. It's common 2 people aren't always in synche.

I apologize if this is confusing. I do feel you two might have been fated to meet, try and one can't say yet - maybe in time succeed.

If so, I see this as you both finding your way back after becoming strong, refined independent versions of the "other". Culminating yourselves and if you're by that time to meet/try again - timing might prove right for U2 then. Your keen insight as to your thinking he was a strong "marriage" prospect might still be right but only time will tell.

Hey moonmystic.. what a coincidence!

He messaged me out of the blue 2 weeks ago.. then ghosted me again.

Last night I had a dream about him for the first time in a while, and I wake up to see this thread at the top..

I feel like this has to mean something.

I have since met someone else. He is very nice and I like him alot and I'm excited by him. But I still think about this heartbreaker from time to time, haha.. and I obviously still dream about him 😂
