We first began our romantic connection in 2017. Have never been officially together but have been drawn to each other/reached out to each other throughout the years. Whenever we do start talking again, the conversation flows for hours endlessly even when one of us will say goodnight/bye, we j can’t help replying to the other.
I see lots of aspects in our synastry; such as sextiles, conjunctions, and a Star of David aspect pattern. Not as sure about our composite chart. Are we twin flames/karmic partners? I don’t see how he and I could work in the long term as soul mates although we have kept in and out of touch for so long .. any clarity on what keeps us coming back to each other?

The big one that stands out is the mutual North/South nodes conjunct. This does just mean you were born close in age, but essentially your paths are in the same direction, collectively.

North Node on your Vesta is sweet- there will be a recurring visitation there in the sense that your innate will to exist and seek purpose will line up with their own life path (even just in that 'constantly bumping into each other' over time).

You both have Uranus conjunct the South Node as well- the recurring theme of on and off, gone then present may be laced through your entire experiences in this lifetime. Something to keep in mind when living your lives of course, as too much of either North or South can make life feel out of balance.
