Hi! First post here...

I've recently started seeing this person and I checked our synastry chart, and saw we have Moon square Uranus. I'm the Moon, he's the Uranus, and it's not exact, it's squared by 5 degrees, so I'm not sure if that makes a big difference but that might depending on what you think is a meaningful orb or not.

For added context, I am pretty Uranian natally, I have Sun conjunct Uranus, Uranus is making a trine to my ASC, and it's sextiling my Moon so I have a Moon-Uranus aspect already in my chart. In his chart, he actually seems pretty Plutonian, he has a lot of close aspects with Pluto to other planets, including one tight sextile to his Venus, and his Mars tightly square Pluto. He doesn't have a ton of Uranus aspecting in many major aspects to his personal planets, except his Venus, which is trining his Uranus by 2 or 3 degrees. And his Mars is making an inconjunction to his Uranus as well, so maybe that adds something. And for even more added context, in our composite chart, the Moon is actually TRINING Uranus in there.

So, with all this added context, do you think it's an aspect that we can both work through better than most? Or if not, then can anyone give advice on how to deal with this aspect, or share their experience with it? It'd be really appreciated!

Below, I have attached our synastry chart if you need extra information.

It depends on how far you plan to take this relationships. All relationships have the potential to go the distance if we have appropriate expectations of them.

For serious synastry, I’d look at each persons chart individually - who are they and what are they looking for in a relationship. Then only I would consider them in relation to each other. I would zero in on aspects with the tightest orbs as that would be felt most keenly. I’d look for commitment, ideally Saturnian activity both ways. I’d look at forgiveness and generosity, positive Jupiter aspects.

Speaking as Uranian myself (Uranus on AC, in aspect to every inner planet except Venus) with 2 decades + of marriage under my belt (take it however you will), one aspect doesn’t make or break a relationship if both parties are committed and forgiving of each other.

Someone’s Uranus in hard aspect is also going to feel v different from your own Uranus in a sextile. I should know - I have it natally. 😁🙏

If I were you I’d pay more attention to the Nodes conjunction with his Venus-Saturn involved. Looks to me like an extremely karmic relationship and a lot of lessons to be learned, probably about family vs career, private self vs public image, what y’all both used to vs transforming into different persons. You also gotta pay attention to his Uranus-Neptune conjunct your 7H Venus. This type of connection can feel very romantic, intense and exciting but it’s not very stable or real, so don't stick your head in the sand and try to stay rational. Also you have Mars square Mars so you need to learn to work together or perhaps sexual chemistry not so in sync.

You have Pluto on your DSC so you like someone who’s strong, intense and mysterious and his Scorpio Sun matches that though perhaps on surface he comes across as more jovial, open and positive. Are your birth times accurate? As you have ASCs opposite with your ASC-DSC rulers Saturn trine. This indicates strong attraction. Your Suns and Moons are also in trines and sextiles which show basic compatibility between you. This is very important and helpful in long-term relationships. I think you do have the potential to overcome your challenges.

I try my best to be as realistic in this connection as possible, I am someone who wants to know the truth about things (got Pluto square Mercury + like you said Pluto widely conjunct the DSC), but especially in this connection just because of who he is. I don't want to say too much, but just know he works in media, so it's funny you say that there is a theme of the private life and the public life. He's very private about his love life, and I could see this being a topic of discussion between us a lot about how to navigate that.

In terms of the Mars square Mars, I know this might be one of our more difficult aspects, he can frustrate me a lot, he can act childish for his age (much older than me) but I try my best to tell him in a way that doesn't insult him or hurt his feelings, but I am very much attracted to him at the same time. I'm not always with him, or in his life 24/7, which is probably the Uranus synastry kicking in, he has to travel to places I can't go, but I do genuinely have this desire, a will, to make things work and that's why I am trying to be as realistic as possible. In a way that's why I'm studying our synastry and his chart so much, so I know what I'm dealing with.

I know his flaws in and out (My Saturn Sqaure his Sun), very much aware of them, but I want to work through them, because I see that he can be better, and I want to make him grow in his personal life, as I can tell he's been so focused on his public life by the things I've seen. I don't want him to be completely sucked in and lose himself. I care very much about his well-being, more than I thought I would...

In terms of the sexual compatibility, we have other things going on that do suggest passion, you can't see it but we have Lilith (mine) conjunct Mars (him) and in the composite chart, Moon-Pluto opposition, and in the davison, Moon-Mars-Pluto conjunct each other closely. So in terms of sex, I'm not too worried about it? It is actually very important to me though, for the sexual relationship to be healthy, I too take that seriously. I want to make him wait though, I'm not jumping into the sexual relating yet and probably for a long time, but I can tell we are very attracted to each other.

In terms of the time, I asked him his birth time so yes, I got it from him himself, it was estimated though. I do think it's accurate since the planets, the houses, the asc are very accurate to him, although I am honestly thinking he was born a few minutes earlier - I don't know why, just a thought.

Hi! I am with someone whose Uranus squares my Moon similarly, and he's also very Plutonian, and I'm pretty Uranian. Very similar based on those descriptions alone.

Without taking your whole charts into consideration and just speaking to my experience with Uranus square Moon --

My guy can detach himself from my emotional experience pretty easily, especially if I'm being dramatic or not fully authentic with my emotions. Like, he can detect it and kinda treat me like a kid if I'm choosing to be immature or needy. This frustrated me a lot at the beginning but it has pushed me to mature and SEE + take care of myself more emotionally. I notice when I witness and attend to my own emotions - truly - and I don't play codependent and try to sneakily get him to take care of me - then this aspect is not an issue. But I believe it is an aspect I attracted to me because I've needed to learn how to take care of my inner child more. I didn't want to admit it, but I really wasn't stepping up for myself. So this aspect has been helpful in a way, because it's what I've needed to grow. Does that make sense?

It doesn't play such a major role in our relationship now after focusing on it for almost a year and a half.

I have this aspect natally at 2 degree orb and usually date people whose Uranus squares my own moon within the same range.

Amazing description. Definitely a new perspective to add to the books.

Hi and welcome!

It really comes down to one's maturity as well as level of self-awareness.

If you're fully grounded in your own emotional existence and boundaries of vulnerability, someone else's Pluto, Saturn or Uranus are not going to have their hooks in you.
