The main reason i say that is due to the DW action on the angles, including:

A’s Jupiter conjunct B’s IC
B’s Jupiter conjunct A’s MC - all the more significant because Jupiter is both A's chart ruler and the ruler of A's 8th house.
A’s Saturn conjunct B’s AC
B’s Saturn conjunct A’s DC

B’s nodal axis is squared by A’s MC/IC, which thereby activating B’s natal Jupiter squaring their nodes. As I've written elsewhere: "As we all know, natal squares to the nodal axis indicate a “skipped step”: something one refuses to face until it is brought to their attention over and over again, until they learn to face it."

With A’s sun squaring not only B’s Cancer moon but their Vertex as well, plus the squares to B's nodes I mentioned above, this is an especially significant relationship for B, who will hopefully transform into greater spiritual consciousness through the association with A.

You’ve got mutual Vertex-Mercury action too, which is unusual: A’s Mercury square B’s vertex axis and B’s Mercury conjunct A’s Vertex. So A's spiritual awareness, too, is triggered by this union.

Jupiter being the ruler of A’s 8th house, its conjunction to B’s IC is a good sign. However, it’s caught in a grand cross with B’s Chiron and Uranus, opposite B’s Mars/Venus. This is both powerful and triggering.

The main challenge is A’s Aries moon square B’s Cancer moon and opposite Mercuries - especially as Mercury rules A's 5th house and B's 7th house.

Positively, you have a yin-yang opposition with A’s Aries moon opposite B’s Libra sun.

I’m a Taurus with Aries moon too and we can be a little self-centered and self-driven for Libra/Cancer folks, while to us they can be too people-pleasing.

A5H ruler Mercury square B’s 8H ruler (moon) and Vertex, opposite B’s 7H ruler (Mercury)

To me the most important thing is always to follow the nodes, for they deal with the evolution of consciousness and the reason we incarnated in this life. Especially considering the squares to B's nodal axis, it's important to read up on them. You both have NN in Taurus, so working on that together can be a wonderful experience. Person A's NN is in the 12th while B's is in the 5th.

I can see enough to know that there is something significant, possibly karmic/ past life. I can FEEL enough to know that there is something magnetic and binding.... maybe a little unstable? But the auto generated interpretations and the things I've read into haven't really explained much. Asking in other platforms has yielded dismissive, one word replies.So again, thank you!

The numbers and such synchronicities are just synchronicities - no more, no less. They're signs that you're on the right path or in alignment, in general, not just in the relationship.

I highly recommend reading the source I quoted if you want to know more about the Vertex and Nodal axes. The nodes deal with the development of consciousness, while the soul/existence/divinity itself is represented by the vertices. Notice that I say consciousness DEVELOPS while the soul-essence can merely be REPRESENTED. In other words, our divine essence is eternal and unchanging; it does not undergo the evolution that consciousness must. The Higher Self is just THERE, ever-watching, ever-present, unchanging and unbothered.

I looked at composite since I am somehow better at it. There is a love stelium, I guess you already know this. Love stellium in leo may indicate a very affectionate love and understanding kind of energy. Lots of forgiveness and easy going. You have pluto squaring the love stellium which intensifies the emotions I guess, more jealousy more possesiveness and more emotional growth and change I guess.
Also in synastry your venus and mars is in his fifth house which means your drive and personality in relationship is really adorable for him, triggering lots of playfullnes.
This synastry and composite are not ordinary or common I would say. There is so much potential. It is interesting that you managed to be friends for such a long time.

Edit: upside downs may result from pluto squares I guess. Love stellium is such a strong energy, pluto squaring it kind of results in such changes in life/point of views/habits. It would be easy and more positive growth vised if it was trine but with square, the growth would feel a bit harsh? I guess.

To learn about the karma and past lives, look to the south node and aspects to it, especially conjunctions and squares. I cannot recommend highly enough to learn everything you can about your nodes.
