Hi,

I was looking up this couple's synastry and noticed they had Venus square Uranus in both the synastry AND composite (in their davison chart only) but they've been together for a long time, over 7 years, have two children and I was always told this aspect was like, one of the worst ones but then I decided to check their natal charts and they had some tight Uranus aspects to their natal planets so it probably changed a lot of things for them. They're together most of the time too. The only thing Uraninan about their relationship is that they got married in less than a year lol so maybe that's where it shows up perhaps?

It got me to thinking about my relationship, we have Venus conjunct Uranus in our synastry chart and have a Venus square Uranus in our davison chart too.

I am very Uranian myself, Sun conj Uranus, Mars sq Uranus, Moon sextile Uranus, & Uranus is trining my ASC and my boyfriend has a Venus trine Uranus in his natal chart and a wide 9 degrees sq to his Sun & Mercury conj.

So I guess this all just tells me that these aspects aren't the end of the world and it heavily depends on who the two individuals are in their own natal chart

Does anyone have another example of this aspect not being negative or the typical "On/off" or "Sudden break-ups" type of thing?

no, but I also have uranus aspects in my own chart, and I know what you mean. I can't write now, right now.

No aspect is the end of the world or the relationship

Like you say, the context of both natals, plus synastry and composite, and transits all need to be taken into account. It’s hard to discuss astrology without isolating aspects (for the sake of conversation/clarity and learning) but I do wish people didn’t write/talk about everything in extremes. There’s no one “soulmate” aspect any more than there are “doom and gloom” ones.

Uranian/Aquarius people are the best at handling these types of relationships, it`s in their nature so this feels comfortable to them. Airy individuals esp those with Gemini placements are a close 2nd and Sag people. They can handle change well and have no problems with some space here and there. But it`s not always Uranus gives that on/off switch to a relationship sometimes it just shows two people who might have different backgrounds and it`s also common in interracial relationships or their might be an age gap or some type of "difference" between the two.
