I have my Eros conjunct his Psyche exact at 0'13 in the 5th house. We also have exact conjunctions of Sun/Vertex, Chiron/Vertex, and Jupiter/Vertex, and a 4' Venus/Vertex. Finally, we have Pluto opposite NN/conjunct SN. Seems like a soulmate!

Thanks for helping me understand if our charts support a successful LTR! We have Saturn conjunct Moon/Moon square Saturn but not too many Saturn contacts to personal planets.

Synastry seemed more like a friendship for me. If it is not manifesting like that I think it is eros and pysche doing the thing. I definetely think that this friendship/ relationship is destined in a way. It is a key for something. Those vertex conjunctions seems special and I dont see them commonly.
How was the date?

We got along just as well in person as we did over the phone, and spent two days in a row hanging out, however I realized that I cannot date him. Without getting into too many details, he's in a financial and immigration situation that I do not want to be a part of. I didn't find the eros/psysche conjunction to have created any particular lust or love at first sight with him. I 100% agree that friendship is the most we could have, and I feel like we were friends in another life with how easily we picked up again in this one. I will say he helped me a lot by reminding me what I need from love to feel safe (I've historically dated very cold hearted men), which felt healing. Hopefully I had some positive influence on him too.

I told him I couldn't proceed with him in a romantic context and he seemed down but understood.

I have an update, for anyone who finds this thread later and is curious how these types of aspects play out.

All those soulmate indicators did end up coming true, it just wasn't romantic, it was a close friendship.

After I let him know that I wasn't interested in pursuing him for dating, we didn't speak for a week, and then he reached out to say he still wants me in his life as his friend. And we spoke on the phone again and it was very brotherly/sisterly.

So I think we definitely have soul ties, we just weren't meant to be a couple. He brings a lot of emotional healing to me just with his presence and perspective, and I'm giving him advice and guidance to get his life on track.

3/26/24 Update:

He continues to be a good friend! We hang out several times a month and call each other up on the phone freely to talk. I have no romantic love feelings for him, but the eros conjunct psyche does generate a feeling of physical attraction - pretty easy for us both to control though, and we have a very brother/sister or bffs type of bond!
