I’m having to be humble and deal with a lot of controlling tendencies rooted in trauma. It helps that he is a super laid back Taurus sun and Pisces Mars. I just tell him when I notice I’ve been a jerk (attempted to control him)

So far, so good but will it turn ugly?

I’m no expert just speaking from my experiences as I’ve been learning. But just my opinion I think that seems like a pretty manageable Pluto aspects. They are are easy aspects on you personal planets and Venus sextile pluto I think is a good one to have. What are the orbs? And do you have any major Pluto aspects in you guys composite? I’m my experience because I am a fixed sign from the Scorpio pluto generation I can have elements of Pluto with must people eso since I have that energy natally but the relationships I think I’ve had the most intense pluto themed relationships were ones that had significant Venus/pluto in our composite other than that for me I feel it’s just my normal level of Pluto behavior lol which I think with maturity and good communication can be managed

We’ve got quite a few Pluto aspects in our composite!:

Pluto square Mars, Venus and Sun! Also Pluto sextile mercury. We’ve got a Venus /Sun conjunction in the 12th house and also Sun conjunct ASC. Jupiter also at the other end of the 12th.

He’s got Pluto square Saturn and Venus and Pluto opposition Mars and Jupiter. I have Mars and Moon in Scorpio. So we both have a fair bit of Plutonian energy in our charts.

So he is a Leo moon and Cancer Venus and Leo Asc. I’m a Leo Venus and Leo Asc. Actually our ascendants conjunct by less than a degree and our MC are also conjunct by a degree, so all of our angles are tightly conjunct and our Vertex conjunct too, obviously. It’s a very interesting synastry and composite, to say the least!

There are several double whammy’s all focused around harmony, love, nurturing, communication and healing deep wounds in synastry.

My north node is close to his moon in Leo and I have already moved closer to my souls purpose just by being with him for a few months! So can really feel it. His north node is in Sag in the 5th house (my 5th house too)

Feels karmic as we have both just started a Pluto transit of the 7th house in Aqua. It’s pretty new but we’ve known each other for about 9 years (through friends)

I’ll let you know! Currently everything is super great! I find myself feeling very loving and accepting of him and really just wanting the best for him. I hate to say it but I haven’t felt that way before but it’s possible that the change is in me and that is why I let him in.

Wow Venus Aries and Mars Pisces! What a combo..! Phew 😆🥴. So you’ve got your Venus and Mars in a square like me (Venus Leo, Mars Scorpio). It makes staying in a relationship quite difficult because we are likely not going to get exactly what we want. I’ve struggled with this too, then blamed it on my partner. Important to realise that the struggle is within and although relationship can be v important (especially for me, Venus in the first house conjunct Asc) realise never going to get all our needs met within it. No matter how good it is!

And Pisces and Aries don’t square they are side by side signs but it is a very difficult mix. I can relate to that feeling of not getting everything and for me it’s because my desires are so conflicting it would be hard for 1 person to have each polarizing personalities. I tend to find that the people I am drawn to emotionally aren’t exciting enough for me.

My Mars in Pisces makes me very empathic, sweet, tempermental,hate conflict, self sacrificing, emotional etc and my Venus in Aries is very direct blunt aggressive impatient selfish adventure seeking love tension and conflict it’s like a turn on 😂 etc so yea hard to find one guy that can do both! And that’s probably why the leo with Venus square Mars has been by longest standing “situationship” because he’s just as unstable and have internal conflict like I do. Lol I tend to embody both a very loving sensitive lover as well as a very passionate, pleasure seeking, adventure loving argumentative lover I just swing from one to the other often so you never rly know what you’re going to get which for someone that can get bored easily I’m sure is somewhat comforting for them 😂 I am alot of things but boring definitely isn’t one of them!! 😂😂 he tends to have some polarizing qualities as well which is why I am drawn to him also! He’s very physically affectionate which the Taurus and Pisces in me love and he’s very playful has great banter and sarcasm which my Venus in Aries loves a lot because I can be very playful, child like and have masculine interests (I love video games, gun ranges, cars, poker, sports etc) so I enjoy masculine energy. But he is also very aloof and emotionally reserved which my Venus in Aries also likes because as frustrating as it can be it does create a challenge which the Aries in me loves and needs to an extent. I love the softness and loving aspect but my Aries energy can find it at times very boring if there’s no edge and I can take them for granted if it too easy. I tend to discover my feelings for someone through conflict. Only when I feel like I am losing you or can’t have you do I know how much I actually want you. Toxic I know lol

And he has been very great at handling my Aries outburst because they do happen often these days 😂 and then I often will start to feel bad (mars pisces) and want to shower them with love 😂 it’s alot like having a split personality honestly. Getting older I’ve gotten better at understanding it and how it does affect me and what I am attracted to and I also have Venus square Uranus so traditional relationships aren’t rly my thing anyway paired with my aqua moon which naturally makes me a bit of a free spirit and a rebel. I am truly a bundle of contradiction which makes for the people that date me a quite intoxicating exciting ride but one you are also very aware of how abruptly the ride can end which makes it difficult for a man to feel emotionally safe with me lol

Ah, yes, your Mars and Venus aren’t square and actually when they are signs beside one another I think that can almost be even more difficult to deal with.

I can relate to many of your stuggles. Wanting stability and excitement at the same time. My partner is very stable and to begin with I found that slightly boring, and I was worried. At first, he seemed to lack passion because of his Mars and Venus in both watery, non-direct signs (Cancer and Pisces) but the more I get to know him the more I realise that there is a or of passion there but it takes a bit of patience, investigation and skill to bring it out. Having both moon and Mars in Scorpio I love the mystery and challenge! It’s lucky, as well, that we have a few v dynamic aspects otherwise we would have fizzled already.

He’s also Venus conjunct Saturn in the 12th house (also my 12th house) so that is also contributing to the slightly careful /mysterious nature that I so love to crack open! I really am my own worst enemy (insert rolling eyes emoji!)

Have you looked at his north node yet? I found that really helpful to understand what his purpose is and what is most important to him.

What is your composite like?

And I’m happy to hear you are finding fulfillment in one person given your complex desires as well. I hope to experience that. I call it peaceful passion 😂 I feel like I got a small taste of it in my previous Pluto relationship before things got crazy and it felt good but it was also extremely short lived so I still question how long me having a peaceful passion can last lol.

I used to think my issue was with being committed to one person but I think I could be with one person I just think it would be hard for one person to keep me interested forever!! I do require alot of stimulation but we’ll see. I also love the idea of loving someone but still being free which has been a rly hard balance to come by which I think is one of the main reasons I still deal with this Leo he’s a lot like me in a lot of ways but his lack of verbal expression I’m trying to compromise trying being the key word lol and this is a recent decision. He has been so accepting of me it makes me want to be accepting of him as well and I think maybe that’s what he’s here to teach me. How to be patient and how to compromise. And just fyi when I say relationships we aren’t in an exclusive relationship we are basically in a “situationship” lol which I’ve never been in an actual exclusive relationship before I’m not a huge fan of titles and restrictions lol

Our relationship as well as personalities are very Pluto & Saturn dominate so it makes for a very interesting mix. I will post a link to our charts. I know we have Venus opp Pluto in composite which is a mess 😂 but I’m not looking for marriage type of compatibility. I’m not trying to marry him no anyone for that matter lol right now I’m just focused on having fun with him while I continue to grow and understand myself better. And he and I have a chemistry that is rly hard to shake and I am intoxicated by it! That Mars in the 8th house combined with all the other stuff we have going it is just rly hot lol

And yes I’ve recently realized this curse lol…I am of the cap Uranus/ Saturn and Scorpio Pluto generation which basically means I have alot of personal planets that touch my entire generation so rly I think I need to just be a cougar and date at least 5 years younger than me lol
My Cap asc basically conjuncts Uranus and netptune also my venus squares Neptune and Uranus which Venus Square Uranus is like a kiss of death to relationships 😂 I am also a fixed sun, Mercury and moon which makes me either sun/mercury opposite Pluto or moon square Pluto and my Lilith is in Scorpio which conjuncts Pluto so all that contact ranging on the degree with my whole generation so yea it’s a lot lol I also have a water Mars which trines the Scorpio Pluto
