so i’ve read that nodal aspects in synastry are quite karmic in nature but depending on the planet and it’s applying aspect (conjunction, square, etc). same with aspects to someone’s angles such as the ascendant/descendant, 4th, 7th and 10th house.

the person i have a child with has these certain aspects between our charts, more specifically:
- his saturn conjunct my ascendant
- his north node square my sun
- his north node square my ascendant (also square my descendant)
- note: his node is also in my 4H and his sun in my 7H

would these point to a karmic relationship? fated meeting?

nodes are extremely karmic and we tend to have nodal contacts with important people in our lives, for better or worse. in a way we're bound to them or have our lives intertwined.

nodes aspecting personal planets (mostly conjunctions) is very important, as well as the axis.

saturn is usually involved as well, since a karmic relationship will show its karmic claws through multiple aspects, not just one. saturn on the ascendant is karma indeed.
