We were both at the same happy hour, and my friend noticed him first and pointed out that he was exactly my type. He was talking to a business colleague (who I later learned was his cofounder), and I did not feel comfortable approaching him, but he noticed me looking and smiled.

3 hours later, my friend's friend invited her to stop into his club. Within 30 minutes of us sitting down... the guy from the happy hour wandered in!! Turns out his cofounder's kids went to school with the club owner's kids, and the owner had also extended an invite to them. We are in a major metropolitan city and the odds of this were insane (especially because he's not even from my city and had arrived in town earlier that day, and my friend invited me to the happy hour very last minute as well). So many things perfectly aligned for us to meet, like the universe planned it!

We were magnetized to each other, but after some light flirting, he admitted that he is married and has three kids back in his home state. He was born into a religious cult and forced to marry at 18 and had 3 kids by age 23 (he is only 29 now). He and his wife lead separate lives but stay together for the children + everyone in their families is still in the cult and will disown them if they divorce. He travels 50% of the time and lives how he pleases when he is on the road, and so does she. I told him I would have no part of his open marriage shenanigans, but he could make up his bad karma in leading me on by introducing me to his single tech founder colleagues. He told me was going to a party THE NEXT DAY full of exactly those types of people, and I was welcome to join him.

The party ended up being the birthday of a successful VC - and all the guests were angel investors, VCs and founders. I was approached by several men at that party, but more than that, I made friends with multiple people who invited me out to more events and parties. I felt confident because the happy hour guy had my back the entire time, and even made a bunch of introductions for me. Whenever I needed a home base, I just went back to chat with him (we get along SO well), and then I'd go back to networking.

The next day I got invited to a party at a member's only club. I again got asked out by successful men, and again met more people who invited me out to do more things. By crossing paths with the NN person, I was put onto a completely different social trajectory (I've been single for 2 years and struggled to meet decent guys from apps, and now all of a sudden I'm being asked out by CEOs).

I also had Pluto move into my 7th house in January 2024 (as a Leo rising), and it foretold an era of very wealthy and powerful people entering my life... and by god it came true as a result of crossing paths with this NN person.
