Hi,
I had three experiences with double Sun/Moon close conjunction in synastry (with Scorpio and Virgo signs) and none have worked. Each time we ended up with a lot of bitterness and it was really fast, in the early stages !
I'm talking about friendship, coworking, and romantic relationship.
Last time, we had a beautiful composite : Sun/Moon/Venus tightly conjunct (all at 14°) in Libra in 11th house, opposed to Jupiter.
That f*cking Uranus squared the conjunction. It was doomed from the start.
Do you think too that Sun/Moon double whammy in synastry is overrated ? Tell me your experiences.

Hi,
I don't have any Sun/Moon DW experiences. But I don't think there's a magical synastry formula that will save anyone from heartbreak. When it comes to relationships there are no guarentees. You could have the most beautiful synastry, but if people have not yet had the necessary personal growth, you will run into problems.

From a spiritual point of view, I believe this is the reason why we have relationships. The other person will shows us our shadow, and we learn and grow as a consequence. In some relationships, you grow together. In other relationships, you grow apart. But which one it is, can't be found in your synastry.

In astrology Moon and Sun are complementary, but the Sun represents a very dominant energy and can be a bit too much for the sensitive energy that the Moon represents. How dominant the Sun is and how sensitive the Moon is also dependent on other aspects in the birthchart. A Scorpio Moon conjunct Pluto man might run into some serious issues with a Scorpio Sun square Leo Mars woman. Unless they did some serious personal growth, the Sun and Moon conjunction won't save them from control and anger issues.

Great answer from PlutoWasHere. It's exactly that.

Personally, I noticed all my life until now that any conjuntion with my moon is quite negative for me.

When I was younger and was studying some astrology, I used to think naively that it was a great synastry, especially for love.

So I was waiting with great hope for someone having sun Cancer conjunct my moon.

But my experiences have been totally opposed to this belief.

I knew many situations like that, with sun, jupiter and other things conjunct my moon and nothing worked well. We became rapidly almost ennemies, rivals or I don't know, but no way to be friends or lovers.

It's like a "sensitive" part of my chart that can't be touched without jerk reaction, and I feel better when people have nothing in my moon sign.

Since some years I attract (I mean at distance through the internet) many people who have moon Aries conjunct my mars/venus/lilith Aries.

They seem attracted inconsciously by that strong energy but no need to mention that it never works too.
But surprisingly enough, even if it can't work it's not even as bad as a conjunction with my moon !

Moon conjunction with me can really create a "bitchy" interaction with the other person, with a lot of agressivity and it's very unhealthy.

While conjunctions with my Black moon lilith creates generally just an intensity that is far more agreeable and "loving", even if not long lasting or never working well.

I would summarize everything above as the other aspect and chart matter. I think moon, sun, Venus are nice vibes, but not enough by itself to sacrifice and commit. it could be if one’s chart is easy. Jupiter is also a not very committed planet. It didn’t work for me.
Also, If there’re mars or Uranus touching moon, that could be distressing.

The hard aspects are more familiar to me. Recently I learned how to make a deal with Sun/Venus DW, maybe too wide. Non romantic, not attraction. It was nice vibes, but I still could relate and know better how to make a deal with the hard aspect pal. I think if we had more time to collaborate I could learn how to make friendships with no friction. lol
It was so weird when we have the same opinions on many things lol But I still don’t feel I can reach out or befriend.
