We’ve currently got Neptune squaring our love stellium in the first house of our progressed composite and beginning to plan buying a home together. It’s likely that we won’t be properly making decisions on properties until end of next year. Is it a risky time? We have a great relation but I’m concerned about all the Neptune squares in the progressed composite: https://imgur.com/a/J36Lz8x Scroll down for the natals and composite. Didn’t include synastry but it’s easier to see those aspects without the chart as all our angles are conjunct by less than a degree. IP: Logged |

I appreciate regular contributor, but I noticed there is not much engagement for progression interpretation on this forum. I myself do not do progressions.

You may well be right. It’s something I’m working on understanding as it has been used in my two most recent astrology sessions with two different astrologers and there seems to be a lot that can be gained through its interpretation. Out of curiosity, what is the reason why you don’t use progressions? IP: Logged |

To answer your question quite simply, I cannot be a jack of all trades. I am good at natal, synastry and transits, having devoted a considerable amount of time to studying these tools, and I just don't have it in me to spend that same amount of time to master progressions. IP: Logged |

Thanks Belage. As you don’t use progressions how would you use astrology to guide you with making a big decision such as buying a house with a partner, assuming you feel good overall about the relationship and you’ve worked through any potential blind spots? Would you look at current transits? IP: Logged |

Yes, i would look at transits and how they affect each natal chart. Good aspects involving Jupiter, Saturn, 2nd houses of possession, 4th houses of home, maybe check transit aspects to the composite…IP: Logged |

Thank you. I feel much more in my depth without the introduction of progressions. Jupiter is currently transiting our 12th house in cancer where we have Jupiter and a Sun and Venus conjunction . It’ll transit our 2nd house in 2027, which is actually where our composite Saturn is and will be in our 4th in 2029 then, of course… Saturn is currently in our 9th house and is conjunct his natal Mars and opposite my sun and Jupiter conjunction. You know, i feel that in the scheme of things, we can only manipulate astrology so much and we have to learn to move through life on gut feelings, instincts, personal knowledge and reason. Is this supposed to be your forever house? Nothing is promised like this. Maybe you are meant to have this house for a certain amount of time, then sell it and get a better house... What I am saying is that if you see a house that truly attracts you and feels right, and you can afford it, don't worry too much about the perfect timing, as long as it's not Mercury retro or some other astrological boogaboo! That’s a very wise response. Looks like it’s going to be delayed for a little while now as I’ve just found out I need a major surgery.IP: Logged |
