Hello all! I havent posted anything in literally 15 years, but Ive had more time to get back into astrology so hopefully some of my old friends are still here!Anyway I wanted anyones thoughts on Venus conj ascendant
I recently met someone (Scorpio Venus, cancer asc) that perfectly trines my (cancer Venus, Scorpio asc). So in synastry we both trine each others Venus in both directions. My friend also has Pluto conj Venus so Thats in there too IP: Logged |

Are you saying this his Scorpio Venus conjuncts your ascendant, and your Cancer Venus conjuncts his Cancer ascendant? Then rejoice!  Venus conjunct ascendant in synastry indicates love at first sight, at least for 1 person. When it's double whammy, the feeling is mutual. I know, I have it with my SO. Match made in heaven. ETA: Okay, I don't know the rest of the chart, there could be elements that are countering this aspect, but just wanted to say having this as double whammy is just one of the best signs of a great relationship. Add in some Saturn and Vertex contacts, and you're cooking with gas! IP: Logged |

Indeed it is a double whammy for the ascendant! Its actually such a strong influence its kinda crazy. These are the other aspects

The only bad (so to speak) aspects I see are: Mars square Co Pluto (3°46)

lol yea that one could be bad! The mars square Pluto. Natal i have mars trine Pluto and no history of violence. She has Pluto trine ascendant, sextile Neptune, and conj Venus. She has mars trine sun and sextile Jupiter and sadly has a history of being abused. Shes even been shot. CrazyI also have mars opposite Neptune, square Saturn, sextile mercury, and sextile Jupiter.
