Hi all you horary experts I have never had a horary chart done and I'm a real greenhorn as to how to go about it. Do I just ask a question? Does a natal chart have to be posted? How does one find an event chart??? Solar_Leo_Queen, if you are reading this, I see you are a real expert at this. Poochy IP: Logged |

It would help if you did your own research. Alternatively, the mods on this forum could write a basic guide which could be bumped up every now and then. Better still, the "Introduction to horary" could be parked in the LL Reference Library. IP: Logged |

Thanks astro. I do have some books on this subject and I'm still learning. There is SO MUCH to learn and I find it all fascinating. I think that was a good idea to have a intro for ppl like us. PoochyIP: Logged |

Medidate on your question and take note of the time. Then you cast a chart, as if it was a natal, but substitute the birthday, hour and birthplace for the correspondent day, hour and place you had your question asked IP: Logged |

Leoeve said it perfectly. Also, before judging a chart, you should check if the chart has any horary strictures in it. Strictures make it difficult for the astrologer to judge the chart accurately. Here are a few strictures in horary:* Ascendant is 3 degrees or less * Ascendant is 27 degrees or more * Saturn in the 1st or 7th house * The Moon is Void of Course (not making any aspects to any planet) * The Moon is via combusta (15 degrees Libra to 15 degrees Scorpio) * Planetary hour does not match the ruler of the ascendant (you would need a calculator for this) IP: Logged |
