Does a separating aspect always mean a "no?" Or can it mean a yes..for instance if I am asking a straight yes/no question... Whether someone/something is or isn't, not whether something will happen that's future oriented. Can an aspect between the sigs indicate a yes, even though it's separating?

Even with a future occurance, can a separating aspect ever indicate a "yes?" To me, no aspect between sigs means a "no" rather than a separating one..thoughts?

In my opinion, tgem, if the question is about the state of being of the quesited, then I do not give too much importance to aspects, but rather to essential and accidental dignity to show his state of mind, health, personality and whereabouts.

A separating aspect means something has happened already, that is why it's a NO when you ask if something will happen between X and Y. No aspect means no action. Quite the worst of possibilities lol.

Thanks for the responses! Makes a lot of sense. Ok so here's the chart- I've had a strong suspicion for a long time that I have met my twinflame. So I cast a chart asking for a straight yes/no, "Is D my Twinflame?"

Given what you said about asking about a person's state of being, this is how I interpreted the chart:

I'm mercury, co-sig the moon. He is Jupiter (ruler of DSC.) The moon and jupiter are conjunct and in essential dignity: moon is in it's ruler, jupiter is in exaltation. We are both receiving each other, he (Jupiter) is in my sign and I (moon) am in his 4th house. The conjunction is separating but this makes sense because we have met already.

NN and POF are ruled by venus and are at home in the 2nd. Venus is domicile. Looking to the 10th house as the "end of the matter," (4th house from the 7th) you see both the moon and jupiter.

I see multiple indications pointing to a "yes" and I'm having a hard time finding any reason to believe it's a "no." I also don't see any strictures...

What do you both think?
Just an FYI: if you know anything about the concept of twinflames that has been talked about in other forums, it is said TF's are associated with the 11th house whose modern ruler is Uranus. Interesting that when you look at the 7th house, you find Uranus there. Also the moon itself sits right on the cusp of the 11th house.

When zoom in the aspects get blurry so I can't read what's applying and what's sep, but I think you're onto something here.

Now, the sun is also his cosig. See how all your sigs and cosigs are in a row? I had the same thing with a chart I pulled...wanna say it means something, but I can't find anything on it.

Like you said, you're both on his 4th and your 4th is ruled by jupiter, which is in his 4th.

Gotta mean something, I can't see the aspects though. Did you also ask if you guys are gonna end up together? Or just if he's your TF? Because if it's the latter, I think you have enough to guess it's a yes.

Ok, well this chart is specifically about whether he is my TF, not if we will end up together (although I have cast a chart for that as well.)

The moon/jupiter conjunction is seperating, but given the fact that they both are mutually receiving eachother (moon in rulership/jupiter in exaltation) I think that is strong.

I have read that planets in the 7th can be used to describe the quiested. The moon makes a seperating square to Uranus. If we use the sun as his co-sig, the sun makes an applying sextile to Uranus.

Also, do you look at the POF at all? I've read astrologers take this into account as well. POF is ruled by venus and venus makes an applying square to the moon and the are mutually receiving eachother (venus in moon's exaltation/ moon received by triplicity.)

What do you think?

I've been trying to find more info on PF, vertex, and nodes, but its hard to say what's accurate and what isn't. Some people don't look at them, some do. Either way, it's not a planet, so even if you consider it , it probably only means it'll improve the area/house it falls into? Again, not sure I'm still looking it up.

Hi LeeLoo! How are you? I'm spending time trying to learn horary. I've been practicing- interesting that you commented on this particular thread because I fast a horary to see whether Cusp is my TF and signs are pointing to a YES... You should cast one to see if your guy is your TF we can try to help you read it!

Good idea, thanks I'm glad you're in this positive mood and this chart looks great. I wrote you a message on the 11th Harmonics thread, you probably didn't see it
