I got back in touch with an old friend of mine, and I guess I'm a little surprised or bummed at her lack of enthusiasm. Or maybe she is just really busy, but I was hoping for a stronger response. Just wanted to get an analysis on this.

What is going on in our friendship? We will see each other soon too.

Hmm..so I probably came on too strong? We have been on and off communicating the last couple of years, so maybe it was really sudden? By the last part, do you mean she is really busy or isn't sure of what to say?

Nothing too personal was talked about, if anything I was too enthusiastic, but never in an aggressive or mean manner.

IDK, I guess I'm a little concerned because I am going to an event of hers that requires decent traveling. I don't see the point in going if she isn't interested in seeing me.

To me, it seems like she is very interested in getting back in touch with you.

I think that she feels like you came on a bit too strong on her, with your ruler exalted.

If you think she's cold or distant with you, then it's only because you're confused or having the wrong impression of her.

She may have secrets, that she wants to tell you, and you might not be very happy about hearing them.

I think for now she's just scared that you might spill her dark secrets so she's taking her time.
