Topic: I asked if my friend would get pregnant within the next 5 years?

You guys know I'm mediocre at reading horaries, but I still want to understand the basics. So here I asked if my best friend would get pregnant within the next 5 years. Because I am asking about her, and HER pregnancy status... do I read the ASC like it's her, or read about sign on the DSC like we always do when asking about others? **Wasn't sure because I'm not asking about someone in relation to me, the ASC.** Next, do we look at the 5th house from the ASC or the 5th house from the 7th? The ascendant is a barren sign, the house of pregnancy (5th house) is barren. The moon is in a barren sign, going towards a malefic (Pluto).The ruler of ascendant is not aspecting the ruler of the 5th house at all. There are no planets in fertile signs. The answer is no. But there are indications telling me you will get pregnant, but much later. The moon in at the beginning of a sign, and the mercury. ------------------

Okay so even if I'm asking about a friend we would still look at the ASC anyway? And thanks. I told her no too but that it looked like she may loose her virginity soon being that Mars, Moon and Pluto will all conjunct or aspect each other at some point - no? Oh. I did not really read the details. If it's about your friend's pregnancy we have to look at the 11th house, and then the turned 5th house from the 11th, which will be the 3rd house I believe.That changes everything. I can't see the chart btw. Can you repost it? Sorry for my mistake. x ------------------

She's jupiter in her 8th house of distressing events and in a barren sign but in dignity by face. She seems distressed about becoming pregnant? Her 5th house ruler venus is perigrine and also in a barren sign. Venus does make a trine to the moon but it is seperating and also in a barren sign..did she suffer a miscarriage in the past? The moon is also in a barren sign but the last aspect it makes is an applying sextile to mars which rules her 11th house of hopes, wishes and gains. Mars is also in her 11th but conjunct Saturn (delays). 5 years out is a pretty long time and horaries are only good for about 3-6 months so I'm going to say there's a CHANCE she will but it's not going to be anytime soon. Yes, she wants a baby so bad and always has but she's actually still a virgin, so no miscarriages. However she did have a traumatic experience at the OBGYN about 6 months ago or so.IP: Logged |

Ok nothing has changed with the Rig house system. You mentioned she is still a Virgin and had a traumatic experience with the OBGYN..that prompted me to look at her 6th house of overall health since her reproductive health (5th) is in a barren sign. Her 6th of health is ruled by mercury which is again, in her 9th and has no dignity. What slightly concerns me here is that her mercury is making an applying square to the moon. Do you know if she has some health problems? Possibly some reproductive issues? Her venus and mercury are both in a cadent house which weakens them even more. IP: Logged |

I don't know what exactly her reproductive problems are but her health is really weird. She's always had a finicky stomach and throws up often (without force). I remember a few years back she learned she'll be at risk for having kids or may not be able to have them and it had something to do with being at risk for diabetes. Do you think it's possible to say she won't be able to have them?IP: Logged |

Ok this all makes sense. I'm going to be completely honest and say this chart as it stands now does not give a strong indicator of having children. HOWEVER, I have only started reading charts fairly recently so in this case I don't want to give a definite no either. I'm going to bump this for the experts to see if the might catch something I'm not seeing ok? This is a delicate situation and I want to make sure the whole chart is take. I am learning as well, so please verifyFrom I see ... Signs 1 and 7 are intercepted. With Chiron retro in the intercepted 1st house, I'm leaning towards the fact that your friend is using this life to focus and clear herself (that's hard to do with kids). 1st house ruler is Neptune/Jupiter, Neptune is retro is 1st and Jupiter is in the 6th (work) so again I would say her focus/job is on herself. With Venus outside the intercepted 7th, I would say love is possible but not without effort. With the N. Node in the 8th, her focus in this life is spiritual. Sabian Symbol

No she's not a very spiritual person. She's interested in that stuff and believes in God but her focus isn't as intense as mine, if you were to compare. Right now she IS trying to figure out her career path and what she wants to do in life, but she's always wanted a child and a family as long as I've known her (almost 10 years). On the other hand what you described fit me perfectly, (!) since I'd be represented by the ASC anyway if we looked at it that way. And I've never been the type just dying to have kids. Mia pointed out if we're asking about friends then we look to the 11th house first instead, maybe you'll see something else? IP: Logged |
