His 3rd house sig, moon, makes an applying trine to your 3rd house sig Saturn. He will respond. Saturn in the 1st often means delays. Last aspect moon makes is an applying square to mercury showing he will respond, but since mercury is Rx and in via combusta, it might not be what you wanted or expected to hear.
