I think I'm Jupiter this time.. but I know what you mean. I have no rule for it, I go with my gut, or if I give an interpretation I say it can be this, or that. We're working with symbols here and you can never be too sure which way they are gonna go, at least that is my view on things.

A rookie's thought on your question: when the Moon (the matter) hits Mercury, which is tomorrow at 8 am, 8 degrees between this Moon and that moment tomorrow, when Moon in exact sextile to Mercury - so I'd say 8 weeks or 8 months, because they are both fast. The chart looks focused on your career for now.

I have no idea if it could be 8 days though what do you think?

The sextile looks very promising to me and the Moon came up as ruling your 5th. It is interesting that Uranus comes in the way of the Moon, so there is some surprise on the way. Also suggested by intercepted 12th ruled by Uranus. I think the surprise comes from you, being a Pisces ASC. The 6th house, with a Virgo DSC, it's related to how this prospective partner looks; and the last Moon aspect sextile its disp, intercepted ruler of this house, the Sun. You and the Moon are already in this house, his house. I think you know him, possibly work related. Especially since the Moon also rules your 6th.

Sorry if I'm making a fool of myself here

I used a combo of how I read event charts and the tiny horary I know.

So you actually consider the getting together of the sigs as the answer to your question (the beginning of a relationship for you). Interesting. That's another way to look at it. I was thinking it would be the Moon (the matter in question) activating your DSC ruler.

It's intriguing, because both methods seem to hold some logical validity.

Moon tells me if it's going somewhere or not. I think not, for two reasons: Mercury is Rx and will probably change his mind; Moon sextiles Sun as last aspect.. Not sure if Sun is an alias for Mercury or someone new. It could be someone I already know because Sun is separating from me. Oh and I apply to square Saturn.. not good. But there will be someone in my life, I think.. But I don't think it's going to be earth-shattering, no. Or long lasting.. So.. why bother? lol

I think you're right...I mean, it makes sense to me: the presence of an appl aspect between the sigs shows that you are already applying to meeting someone (or viceversa) and it should be the first thing to check, it trumps everything. Maybe in the absence of the said aspect, we go to the Moon.

Not classical horary here, but I think the Sun is a merging point: it relates to both of you, to Merc/Virgo/6th house from his side, and to you as the disp of your sig and the Moon. Also, Mercury may be moving away from the Sun for now, but its disp is going towards the meeting place, and then Mercury will move back (maybe someone returning to you??). Plus, I wouldn't see Saturn as bad - it rules his 5th house and it's on a very nice midpoint of the two male planets (I noticed that from my friend's chart), in 2nd for him and in 8th for you, suggesting this man would be looking for a stable, committed, close relationship (merging of 2nd and 8th).

Actually, I think this current chart favors positive love outcomes for people.
