I would really appreciate some help with this one, I really don't want to get this wrong.

A guy I know has unfortunately been wrongly accused of rape, he is such a mess and he's very suicidal. Lost his job everything. I know he didn't do it and has witnesses that were there at the time. It's honestly a very sad situation.
He has to answer bail in two weeks and court is for the 17th next month should it be carried on to court.

Using Lilly's rules I took him as the first, her as the 7th. Judge 10th and end of matter as 4th.

1st and 7th are applying by sextile, I'm unsure what the means, could it be settled before court?
The judge is saturn in the 6th her turned 12th.

She makes an applying square to judge and her sig is in his 4th house end of matters. But I'm unsure what this means. This is such a stressful time. I feel so bad for him.

If I look at it this was, to me it doesn't look good for him. What houses do I use if not under Lilly's rules?

Well first of all since you asked the question, you are the querent (ruler of the 1st.) To assign him a sig would depend on his relationship to you (friend-11th, co-worker-6th, etc.)

Either way the moon is VOC in this chart which unfortunately means "nothing will come of the matter" so that can either point to "no" he won't or it won't even go to court.

To get a clearer picture, what is his relationship to you?

He's more of a romantic interest, I know him quite well and is considering a relationship, but as he's under a lot of stress due to this accusation so has held back. Would I take him as 7th then?

Would a voc moon at the end of the sign signify nothing happening?

It actually hasn't gone to court yet, he finds out when he answers bail so maybe I shouldve phrased the question differently

Ok here's my take, originally since you told me he was a romantic interest, I would have said he would be mercury (ruler of your 5th.). But you said you know him really well so this makes me think to go ahead and use the 7th house ruler which would be jupiter. Given that you're mercury, you see that mercury and jupiter are making an applying sextile showing a continued and future relationship between you two. As for him and the case, he is jupiter in very strong dignity by triplicity and in his own 10th house. The courts would be the sun. The sun is in via combusta and making a seperating trine to Jupiter. This shows his past involvement with the law but the judge/court system is deluded about the information. This is also verified by the applying trine to neptune. It does not show future involvement with the law. Looking to the 4th house from his 10th as to the "end of the matter" we see it is again ruled by Jupiter in strong essential and accidental dignity...which is good. Jupiter is making an qpplying square to saturn which would make me think he sont win the case but since he is in such strong dignity, I would read the VOC moon as he won't go to court... Might be settled outside of court.

I'm not an expert though, I'd like to see you get a second opinion on this as well..

That's very interesting thank you, I personally felt it wouldn't end up in court. What would neptunr being rx mean if they are under illusion with the information?

Well you don't use outer planets as sigs, but my guess it that it would give more strength to idea that the courts will change their their minds about him..new info. Might emerge to keep him out of court.
