Basically, I received my final year results back and I am two marks away from the higher grade. I am writing to appeal the decision; will my appeal be accepted and a higher grade given?

I think not, ikja, though it is of course not set in stone. The Asc is very early, which generally means it's too soon to tell. You are Saturn, you are in the 9th with a bunch of other planets, which kind of tells me there is some sort of competition for higher grades. Mars is the ruler of your 9th, so I will take it to represent the Uni, though I might have also gone with the ruler of 10H, Jupiter. Neither one is showing me a yes - Mars is not yet applying to you, more so it is being applied to by Mercury which suggests this Mercury person will get the higher grade; Jupiter makes a square to you, so again that would be a no. And the final convincing factor was that you are combusted, meaning you don't see your situation very clearly/ may have unrealistic expectations.

Like I said, due to the Asc being very early, this whole interpretation might not apply at all. I do hope to be wrong and that you will be granted the grade you feel you deserve. Having been through an excruciating exam myself this week, and receiving less than what I deserve, I understand you fully.

Good luck and please keep us posted with the outcome, for learning purposes!

Darn it! Lol
Thank you for taking the question on DM! Your response is not surprising to me. I guess I'm approaching this appeal with a leap of faith, tbh... My argument is actually quite sound but for some reason the university loves to be difficult. With that said, the university has a global reputation and I'm not surprised when you suggest competition for better grades.
What annoys me is that I went though a difficult year while sitting my exams. I was a carer, part/time employee and a full-time student and missed out on the next grade by a margin. For some reason, they won't take into account the material I've submitted to document this - I think it's because there's no doctors evidence but to me, that's annoying. If I can prove that I have been a carer, surely... That should have weight.

However, I choose to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Let me fight hard till the end. Will definitely keep you posted - appreciate your time and effort xxx

Well, I submitted my appeal today.
Including 15 appendices labelled A-K (Appendix D had sub docs) - hoping, praying and chanting for the best! x

The AC is at 0 degrees so to early to ask and the moon to top it off is also at early degrees so I think you should ask right now since you submitted additional documents today; it would be good a time to re ask question!

However the moon is VOC for me so its a bad day to submit things...

Was the moon VOC at the time you submitted these additional documents?

I submitted the appeal in 6 parts over half an hour lol.
However, this is the exact chart for when I sent the first.

Well, I think you should get the extra points just for that submission alone!

Good luck.

Oh no! (I should read the whole thread before replying).

So sorry! That's not right. I really believe having made such a complex appeal shows that you are very dedicated and hard working. Boo on them!

So... The university rejected my submission. However, I escalated the matter and my case has been accepted by the Ombudsman and is due to be reviewed.

I did cast another chart for the time/date they accepted my submission. The chart shows that I am in the Ombudsman's first house - if I use the 10th house to represent them.

However, there is still some work to do on my part before they make a decision. So perhaps, I'll need to cast a new chart when I submit the response that they are requesting?
