So I gather that the answer is yes but want feedback overall on the chart in relation to the question...That neptune ruling the 3rd in the 2nd worries me... Thanks for any feedback in advance. IP: Logged |

Come to think of it that neptune conjunct chiron could represent the source of income for me; I work with the mentally ill providing medication, support, counseling and linking them to resources.IP: Logged |

Moon was VOC.. nothing will change for now. In horary we use traditional rulers, so Jupiter for Pisces instead of Neptune. Jupiter (significator for the car) is squaring you (Saturn), so that is another no.. I am sorry, hypatia.. Not yet but don't give up! ------------------ ~the raving one dancing in the nude~ IP: Logged |

I am Saturn and Saturn is conjuncting approaching the Sun which is ruler of the 8th so that would mean that the loan would get approved. Mind you saturn rules second house natally. Jupiter may rule the 3rd traditionally but uranus (natural ruler of cars) is ruling my 2nd (my income) and is falling in the 3rd house (car) so for this question Uranus is a better fit: Uranus is sesquisquare applying Saturn and Sun so to me that means there may be some delays but I will purchase the car sooner than later; probably before the year ends. I also find it interesting that the moon is conjuncting my natal sun in virgo at 28 05 deg practically exact.

During a void Moon you should not sign a contract, make plans, close a deal, or start a project. Basically anything which you want to have a concrete real-world result should not be started, signed or sealed. If you do, these things will never get off the ground, never materialize, have to be re-done, or have so many problems and setbacks as to be useless anyhow. On the other hand, ... if you want to drop a bombshell, and yet have fewer repercussions in the long run, during the void-of-course Moon is the time to do it.

Fascinating stuff this VOC, thanks for pointing it out:Remember President Reagan, the "Teflon® President", who never got blamed for any of the bad stuff? Well he was very careful to schedule those presidential news conferences where he would answer the hard questions about nasty controversial stuff during void Moons. There would be questions and discussions, yet the next day nothing would ever really be said in the paper or on TV. The topic was just dropped, forgotten, or glossed over, and nobody really ever noticed. The void Moon was Reagan's Teflon®. Even in August 1988, when Nancy Reagan admitted at the Republican national convention on live TV with Dan Rather that the Reagans used astrology, it was during a void Moon, and nobody really noticed or cared. … Of course, when President Reagan had something had something wonderful to say which would make him look him good and he wanted people to notice, he was very careful to make sure the Moon was not void-of-course, so he would receive maximum notice and credit. So I purchased a car November 29 so I decided to look into VOC further and came across an astrologer who says that in horary trines are the most potent, followed by sextiles and then conjunctions.....This would mean the moon was not VOC when I asked the question. Without reading this I was always under the impression that conjunctions, squares, oppositions, trines and sextiles are all major aspects in general although this astrologer says sextiles are strong in horary; second strongest after trines. Do you have info on an astrologer that says not to count sextiles with horary ? I would like to read it. IP: Logged |

Hypatia, thank you for the feedback. Yes, Moon was making sextiles to Saturn and Sun, but Moon was separating from them, which means those actions were in the past. Sextiles definitely count in horary, but we're mostly interested in applying sextiles for questions about the future - such as yours. Horary has special rules that do not mix with modern astrology I'm afraid. The Moon was definitely VOC in this chart, and there is only one instance in which this could have worked - if you have already applied for a loan before raising the chart. The chart emphasizes this is a "done deal", there was nothing to do but wait at the time you asked. ------------------ ~the raving one dancing in the nude~ IP: Logged |
