I created a hiking meetup for this Saturday, but it's going to rain the night before which would mean it would be muddy on Saturday. It's not going to rain on Saturday according to the weather forecast, but I'm not so sure. I'm debating whether or not to reschedule the event or maybe choose something instead of hiking, like meeting at a restaurant. I don't know. I really want to hike, but I'm unsure if Saturday will be good because of Friday's rain.

Do I use 5th or 11th house for social activities and fun and pleasure? I would say 11th... but the 5th has a lot of activity. I would have advised you to reschedule because Sun and Mercury (I went with 11H ruler because this is a group meeting - but you are right, they are all in the 5th and it makes sense, being a sporting event) are separating. However, even if you do go on with it, there are chances it will turn out alright, because POF is conjunct you and Moon applies to you. Not to mention you have the great benefic in your house, in an applying trine to you. You have a lot of things going in your favor, even if the weather did not.
