I decided to fire an email to some random people about employment prospects in different countries. I sent an email to this person (a she) this morning.

Will I get a reply or not?

I will update this as soon as I get a reply from her (if I do).

She would be mercury, and me moon. That's where I'm stumped.

I never use Placidus charts for horary, only Regiomontanus... but from the chart, first I would say that she is probably Saturn (and Mars) because she is the other person (I don't know what actual relationship you have so I'm saying House 7). I see you're using H3 for her but that doesn't seem right to me, as I would use H3 for the letter/email, but your question is phrased in a way to delve into the action of the other person...

I don't use True node for horary either, I use Mean node, but I see the moon on the same degree as the node, which could be a good sign, but I don't trust it because it's not mean node.

I didn't look too deeply into the chart just because it's not a standard horary chart for me, but my surface look at it says 'no'...

I didn't even think about 7th house because it related strictly to work? I used 10th house, Mars, and Moon for Mincey Mouse. Moon and Mars are trining but maybe due to it being a Placidus chart I don't know if it's applying or not.

Yes, definitely H10 if it's employers... but that's the problem - who are we talking to - the employer(H10), an employee (H3), an assistant to the employer(H11, as I understand) - these are all different houses, so that's why I settled on the 7th house because I use it for all people where the relationship really isn't clear... If it's directly to an employer, then H10 is the best I think. If the question were phrased as to expect a reply from 'a company' I would say H10 as well, but it's specifically a person, a she, a random person... so it felt best to use H7... but who knows, maybe it is an employer and should be H10...

This is why phrasing a question as precisely as possible to convey the exact meaning is so important.

PS: The moon mars trine is a wide separating trine... so that's likely a no.

The answer was NO based on the horary.

Hmm- I thought the 3rd house would be for communications? Considering that this is a random company which I have no ties to, I would have thought it would not go into the employer-employee relationship?

When you turn the chart, the 3rd house is the 6th house of the 10th - which is the employee of the employer... (Yes, turning houses makes things very difficult and confusing... I'm always second-guessing the houses I choose...)

Well, the H1/H7 question was a 'no', and looking at the other 2 houses, I think I would have answered 'no' as well... There are some small indications, but I don't think there's enough support... But again, the main question asks whether a specific person would reply - and that appears to be 'no'... so the chart seems to have given it's answer correctly
