I've always loved singing ever since I was a little girl. Back then my school teachers advised me to pursue an artistic career but I chose to go down the traditional route and finished college with two legal degrees. Although I am planning on sitting the bar exam next year, I have been contemplating starting singing as a side project in hope to get a breakthrough. This is bizarre as I had never thought of singing as a potential career. I've always thought it was uninteresting because it's not an "intellectual" profession.

My sister has been pushing me to choose this path and work on it on the side. I'm a very shy person by nature so I am not quite sure about this. She wants to sign me up to some talent show (she's crazy!).

Would this be a good idea?

Thank you for your help

Which was the question you were thinking when you created this horary chart:

1) Should I start singing professionally on the side?

2) Is it a good idea to do the talent show my sister would like me to do?

Or is it another variation of what you have said?

I ask this because it's important to know the exact question you were asking because one answer might be 'yes' and the other 'no'... Plus some people might choose to read different houses based on how the question is formed.

Regardless, you are Sun and you are found in the fifth house, so I know that this really means something to you.

Here are some other things...

Singing is usually the 5th house, so it is ruled by Jupiter which is Rx in the 12th house and 3 degrees from the AC, but you are mutually separating... I feel like these are all unstable characteristics. It's received by triplicity and term at least, for strength and reception.

The significators of 1/5 have no proper connection, so if this is going to be a House 1/5 question, then I would have to say no to the answer, but I am unsure of exactly what the question is so I can't definitely say no.

I found this question interesting, and so I cast a chart for myself asking, "Should she pursue singing as a career?", using the turned houses 1/10... I got an applying opposition for this question, and many squares and oppositions overall in the chart... which would generally mean that if you did take this course of action, you would regret it in the end. There really wasn't anything favorable coming from the turned 5th house either, so I can't see that it would be a good idea to pursue this as a career - that doesn't mean you can't pursue it on the side of your main career though. I can see that you love it, so it should probably be a part of your life, but it doesn't have to be your livelihood.

It's definitely good to get more than one person's opinion, because we are all at different stages as readers, and we are all human, so we are all capable of mistakes, but I will say no for this based on these two charts that I've looked at.

UPDATE: .... SO MY BAD!!! I had a look at the chart I cast and suddenly realized that I had put in the wrong YEAR! So the chart should be completely disregarded, along with all of my interpretation for the chart that I cast myself for this question... So sorry!! So, definitely get another opinion if you can...

Thanks for your detailed analysis

I'm going to stick to my day job then ha. It was only meant to be a side project. I wasn't planning on making a career out of it
