Every single year, I have one, two or even three exes/former flings/crushes who come out of the woodwork after a long period of no contact. I'm usually taken aback and it somehow deeply disturbs me as the feelings tend to resurface. Last year, 3 of them contacted me to "reconnect".This year, I want to focus on work and career only. Hence, I don't want any emotional disruptions. Therefore, I'm trying to proceed accordingly by bracing myself ahead of time. I would like to know if this year (again, maybe), any of my exes is going to come out of the woodwork? I'm not thinking of one person specifically. It can be anyone really. Thank you IP: Logged |

I had a Venus return tell me I was going to have a number of exes come back out of the woodwork during the first part of one year... in the first 6 months of that Venus Return year, I had 11 exes contact me (short and long relationships) all with a hint of wanting to reconnect... some from continents away... So, I'm thinking posting a Venus return chart might be helpful... http://www.cafeastrology.com/astrologytopics/venusreturn.html For career, I guess Solar Return would be a good place to look, or else transits... That's what I was thinking about. What date should I enter? I don't remember how to calculate my Venus Return. IP: Logged |

I just googled it briefly and from what I understand it's when transiting Venus is conjunct your Venus exactly? But one of the users was talking about having to use an ephermis to create hers, so I think it's more extensive than that...If I'm right though, all I did was go to Astro.com and select that I wanted my "natal and transits" chart, and played around with the dates a little bit. I think mine is easier because my Sun and Venus are both in Aries. IP: Logged |

As I have no clue on how to calculate my Venus return and the next one being on Dec 17th, I'd like to get a small insight based on this horary. A yes/no answer will suffice. If anyone is willing to look into it, I'd really appreciate it Many thanks, IP: Logged |

"VENUS RETURN The function of Venus is to attract and harmonize and it is also the planet responsible for aesthetic sensitivity. Venus returns, which occur about every 11 months, provide information about relationships, resources, creative activities and the sorts of relationships, experiences and resources you are likely to attract and how to go about attracting them. Like Mercury, Venus can undergo a retrograde period resulting in more than one Venus return in a given year. The Venus retrograde period can occur once a year, but some years it does not occur at all, and the retrograde period lasts for about 7 weeks. When planets are making directional changes which correspond to their return periods, these returns tend to represent key evolutionary cycles for that planet and often coincide with important events." [http://www.astroresources.com/april99.htm]You can literally do it by trial and error using astro.com extended charts. I don't know of a VRcalculator out there... So, let me know if you find one! Another good way to do it might be to first find out the EXACT degrees of your birth Venus (aka nVenus, meaning Natal Venus) and then go to Planetwatcher.com to find out when your next rVenus (aka Return Venus) is going to arrive. Then go back to astro.com with that date to make the chart - make sure the outcome is correct, and make sure that you didn't miss an upcoming Venus retrograde (explained here: http://wiki.astro.com/astrowiki/en/Venus_Return_Chart)

Update: A couple of them have already re-appeared after years/months of silence. Not that I am interested but just wanted to update. IP: Logged |
