So straight to the point, say I erected a chart. The querent is Saturn in Sagittarius The quesited is moon in Leo Moon & Saturn are squaring Now this where I get confused.. How can I tell who likes who more? Moon only has faces in Sagittarius Saturn is participating, but in triplicity in Leo... EDIT: saturn is also in term, faces AND detriment. So does that mean saturn doesn't like the moon much or the moon doesn't like saturn much because of what sign it's in. Am I making sense? IP: Logged |

The sign the planet it's in determines the reception. I always advise to replace whatever reception you have with rulership, whenever you don't know who does what in that reception. Say I am Saturn and you are Venus. If I'm in your rulership (you rule me), I will obey you and do everything you ask. I obviously respect and love you a lot. This happens when me=Saturn is in Libra. If I'm in your exaltation (you exalt me), my whole world smiles when I think of you. This is Saturn in Pisces talking about his Venus. If I'm in your term, I am friendly and courteous towards you. Like Saturn at 7-14 degrees Aries is about Venus. If I'm in your detriment, I don't like you very much. I may be jealous, envious or feeling hurt by you. If I'm placed in Scorpio. If I'm in your fall, I resent you. I could even hate and loathe you. That is Saturn in Virgo towards Venus. The sign you're in determines how you feel about me. ------------------ ~the raving one dancing in the nude~ IP: Logged |

But detriment and fall don't always work that way. I've received someone i like very much by detriment.IP: Logged |

Ok, so that means the moon since it has no dignity in Leo has no feelings either way about the querent..now say the moon is at 26 degrees but it applies to mars @ 1 degree first, separates from jupiter @ 5 degrees, THEN applies to saturn @ 5 degrees that would mean the saturn & moon don't perfect their square until the moon is in virgo. The moon is in triplicity in virgo...does that mean the quesited (moon) feelings will change for the querent=saturn?IP: Logged |

I did too. Sometimes detriment translates as frustration (because we couldn't be together), jealousy or even intense lust. But those are rather exceptions than rules. ------------------ ~the raving one dancing in the nude~ IP: Logged |

You look at the sign the planet is in, in the Table of Dignities. Then you check to see if you Saturn shows up. Moon is in Leo - Saturn is in detriment in Leo. Moon resents Saturn for something. For the other questions I will need a chart to visualize. ------------------ ~the raving one dancing in the nude~ IP: Logged |
