How much time must elapse before you ask a question again? For example: It is January and I ask if I will be in a relationship by April. If April comes and goes and no relationship manifests can I re-ask the question again at the end of April/beginning of May or is that too early of a time?

6 months for the exact same question is what I've heard is standard. Some people will say 3-6, but I think it depends on the question and how mutable it is.
