My grandma has made offhand remarks about my weight lately and it's bothering me. I don't know if she's joking or serious. In late January I fell into a depression that I haven't come out of, even wirh my therapist's help. I'm trying though. Before my depression I was a happy, healthy 5'3 100 lbs. My doctor said that I was the healthiest I'd been in years! I'm now 5'3 125 lbs. I made a comment about pizza and she said I was going to look like a pizza lover since I haven't been exercising. Planetary hour ruler when I asked the question is the fat, indulgent jupiter Planetary day ruler of today, Tuesday, is energetic, skinny mars IP: Logged |

I´m getting a straight no for the answer, so she´s not. But, knowing grammas, she´s probably making fun of the fact that you see yourself as overweight because in her generations, your weight was likely a very healthy and normal weight ... she´s probably saying the things she´s saying as more satirical than anything else... she likely thinks you´re just fine. You´ve asked this question and you´ve gotten jupiter and sun to represent yourself... roundness abounds in the way you see yourself... At 5´3 you have a healthy weight between 100 to 140lbs... I understand wanting to be on the lower end of healthy weight, it does feel better in so many ways, but thinking others have a problem with your weight is often in our own minds. IP: Logged |

It's just my normal weight is 100 lbs and the fact that I have gained 25 lbs makes me think of myself as overweight. I understand that I'm not, but when you're 100 lbs and that's all you're used to, you think even a 10 lb weight gain is crazy... I do think she was just joking, she does that often. I did talk to her and tell her that I wasn't comfortable with the jokes because I actually am currently in counseling for my eating issues. I'm trying to lose the weight I've gained in such a short amount of time and trying to be healthy again, but I'm also trying to fix my mental health. Jupiter in the first house definitely does show how I see myself. I have always seen myself as fat. When I was younger i had anorexia and got to around 80 lbs. It was the worst I'd ever felt about myself. I'm trying to fix my mental health so I can finally be a happy woman in my 20's. Thank you for answering in such a positive, honest way. IP: Logged |

I thought jupiter in the first house would represent how I view myself. Besides, I know my weight isn't fat, but I feel she thinks it is. IP: Logged | |
