I met this guy online yesterday, we have a lot of things in common and the conversation flows easily enough. He's older and has been married before, now divorced so he's not afraid of commitment but..... I've noticed a few (what I would consider) "red flags" in the conversation. Nothing that would put me in danger, but things that say "Eh, this could turn into a problem later." Right. Anyway, he wants to see me tomorrow but I was thinking of shutting it down already. So I had asked if I should go see him anyway, but (per Appleberry's advice!) I think my underlying question is should I give him a chance anyway?I think since he is new, he's the 5th house and I'm 1st. IP: Logged |

First I'd say, follow your gut and it seems to be saying no. First rule of thumb for women regarding online dating: You don't owe anybody anything. Don't let him guilt you into meeting him. If you've seen red flags and he's telling you no, then you should not go. Now, for Horary... Give him a chance "romantically" would be 5th. If not romantically, then I would have used the 7th I think. First thing that popped out was Chiron directly on the cusp of the 5th. Most people don't use Chiron in Horary but Chiron always shows up as an influencer for me. If this were my horary chart, it would have been enough for me to stay away from the situation. I can't really say what it means in your situation - but unhealable wound doesn't sound like a great thing to influence the situation. You're not connected as significators, the moon doesn't aspect you, but it does aspect Jupiter, and is it's next conjunction as well... There isn't enough positive here to support the idea of giving him a chance... I think you should follow your gut. Your intuition is more highly developed than the average person... Trust it. I think the horary supports the idea of a meeting, for starters. Like appleberry said, trust your instincts at every step. I don't think you'd regret going out with him, but don't just jump into a relationship with him yet. I think you'd enjoy the date, for what is worth. ------------------ ~the raving one dancing in the nude~ IP: Logged |

I would agree with DM as well... Both sigs have primarily positive aspects. But, the final aspect of the moon is a square to Chiron, but it's last conjunction is an Rx Lord of the 5th...We can always look at the end of the matter as well. It's a separating trine... so it might be already finished. It would be interesting for feedback if you did meet him though, lol! IP: Logged |

I am sorry to hear that, Hanna, but in all honesty you might have dodged a bullet there. Always trust your gut. ------------------ ~the raving one dancing in the nude~ IP: Logged |

I know not everybody follows this, but Jupiter is also @ 15 degrees Leo, & supposedly that's like the worst degree ever. In the zodiac. Not sure if there is a fixed star there or what but yea. Of course Chiron squaring your moon isn't good either. I'm really curious though about these red flags..were they along the lines of what he's looking for or like emotional instability? IP: Logged |

I hadn't heard that, but the fixed star there is not so bad: Dubhe The Bear Astrology, arrogance, psychic power, destruction; aka Krathu, one of the 7 Rishis (Hindu sages) in Ursa Major; Bast Isis, the Egyptian goddess; "The Eye"; "Heaven's Pivot" 15° Leo 00 15° Leo 08 Fortunate Venus/ Mercury/ Mars α (Alpha) Ursę Majoris K0 (orange) Mg.2.0 Caput Algol at 26* Taurus seems to be the harsh one in my mind...

Oh yes I know ALLLL about Caput Algol & I thought it was actually @ 22 degrees Taurus. Or maybe I'm just thinking about 22 degrees in general meaning bad luck..My natal Chiron is there or very close to it in the 9th & I just recently discovered that my solar return for 2013/2014 had venus right smack on it,well @ 22 degrees & yea it's bad. And you know what!? I just realized why it's probably best for me to meet men in person & not online as 9th house rules the Internet & things far away. No wonder the few encounters I've had were horrible. Well in the sense of getting emotionally hurt anyway. IP: Logged |
