Anyone here had a horary reading by Robert Hand? I did last Summer. He was spot on and very fast at reading a horary chart. If you have had a reading, post here and share your experience. He felt so bad of the negative outcomes of my horary he gave me a mini-natal chart reading lol. He also reads charts a bit differently than any horary board I been to. He has a special technique I guess. IP: Logged |

No, never had a reading by him but I'm sure he's quite good... I've read some of the free ones on astro.comIt would be interesting to hear about his technique if you have anything to add about it... IP: Logged |

Hi well he just looks at the aspects...LOL. He doesn't really go into the whole...reception...diginity etc of L1,L7 (since my question was about a relationship)...just houses/aspects sort of thing. He says going into too much can just confuse you. One thing I do notice on some boards is that people read read way into a horary...hhmmm... that is something I noticed and Robert Hand doesn't do that. Anyway, he is awfully good and he was right on the money. And he doesn't really believe in timing. Well he said timing isn't totally accurate and its hard to pin point. I guess everyone has their technique. We were on the phone for one hour but he was so nice he gave me a free mini-natal chart reading. He felt so bad because my horary chart was not promising.IP: Logged |

I agree with all of that. Reception, from what I learned, has more to do with the willingness and comfort of those involved. So, I also look primarily at the aspects for the answers. Sometimes I think the houses the planets land in speaks more as well because it shows some kind of direct intention regarding the scenario, and where the querent/quesited would be most likely to direct energy and effort (regardless of comfort and willingness). Reception only adds more detail for me. I do see other people work other ways though, and there's no reason to knock it - what works for one may not work for another.I also have a hard time being exact with timing. The timing does work out often enough, but I have a hard time trusting it and think that it is possibly working out more from intuition than calculation. IP: Logged |

Yep! I agree with everything you said. I am so pleased with Mr. Hand that this Summer I am going to get a full natal chart reading if he has time (or if I have the money...he is pricey). :-).

Yes, I think he's a good choice. I've never paid to have my chart done before... I've always been more interested in learning how to do it myself than having someone else do it for me - but maybe one day. We all have different ways of interpreting things and sometimes having the interpretation of someone who doesn't actually know you might shed light on things that you don't automatically see yourself.I wonder if he has any sample horary readings online that we could look at. Hi when he did my mini-natal chart reading when I purchased a Horary he saw something VERY interesting (prediction) that I would have never seen with my own eye balls LOL. He got me so excited about it...and he was right on the money with the timing...! This is very impressive considering he didn't study my chart before...he is that good! I don't have enough patience and time at the moment to study astrology otherwise I would read it myself.
