Hi LL, I asked if he knew I was interested in being more than just friends. I'm not sure if I'm interpreting this right, but whether I use 11th, 5th or 7th ruler for him there is either separating or no aspects to me (sun), so I would say no. Right now we're best friends, so I would think 11th house is the right one? Thank you for any input IP: Logged |

My instincts say to use the 11th, because the question isn't about the actual romance, but about the knowledge of a friend. So, that would make you Sun, and him Mercury - he's already combust, meaning he cannot see everything, plus the lord of the 5th (your house of romance) is in the 12th house of hiding/secrets.... And there's no aspect between main significators other than a conjunction (which would require Ptolemaic application from the moon to be significant). So, I would agree that he doesn't know. Thank you so much for your explanation Appleberry I have some clarification Q if you don't mind me asking? Eventhough his significator is combust, is it any different then usual combust planets since I am the sun in this case? Also, sun & mercury do aspect, they are conjunct but separating so how would this be interpreted? IP: Logged |

Both of your romance significators are in the 12H. I think you both secretly like each other. The fact that he's the one combusted answers the question pretty straight foward. He can't see through you, he doesn't know what you want from him.I think the fact that the conjunction is separating means that he will eventually start to see things clearer, that you'll allow him to "see you", to know how you feel. You're ruled by the Sun, you're the combuster, and you're sitting under its exalting sign. You have the power here. IP: Logged |

I think Appleberry answered it in the beginner's forum, basically I believe she said she doesn't take aspects to the ASC itself seriously if the ASC lord is not also aspected by the planet. So if his Sig and your Sig aspected then the aspect to the ASC would just strengthen the outcome, otherwise it's a neutral aspect.IP: Logged |
