I have only completed one college course and have been out of high school for five years already. The reason I haven't completed college is because I was lazy these past few years. I feel like I'm ready now though; however, even though I feel ready to complete school I don't know what astrology will have to say about it. I REALLY want to get my Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism or English (I want to be a writer) before I'm 30 (JUST turned 23 last week).

Apparently you can never ask horary 'ever' questions as they are only valid for 3-6 months.

The ascendant is very early and therefore, this might also make this chart unreadable.

However, if i ignore these things.... You're Saturn and the 9th house (higher education) is ruled by Venus. There is no aspect between the two. However, there is a trine aspect betwe is the Moon (co significator) and Venus. It is an applying trine which seems favourable. The moon is also in Libra which is ruled by Venus and therefore, this suggests that it would not be a bad idea to look into starting a course within the next 3-6 months.

However, because of the ascendant being early, perhaps making this move will be premature?

It is never too late. But is there a reason why you want to finish before 30...planning on having a family? I am 32 and I am doing my second degree because my first one was a mistake LOL...and I am finally doing something I always wanted to do :-).
In your chart you are Saturn rx...peregrine you feel lost in life, going back and forth ...that sort of thing.
You are in the 10th rx back in the 9th, house of higher education.
Moon in the 9th has accidental diginty and receives Venus will trine Venus, ruler of university, so yes I think you will eventually get your degree.

Saturn sextile the ASC, just put a little effort in to this.

Hope this helps a bit!

Good luck!!

I was thinking of going back to school starting in the fall, so I might revisit this question in a few months. I was unsure about the early ascendant too :/

I have no special reason why I want to get it before age 30 lol, I just have always said that. You're right about the Saturn Retrograde stating that I feel so lost right now. I definitely am willing to put effort into this thougj

Yes, the answer can change for many questions with ever/never. I've recently asked a question about finishing a project that looked like it would never get done. First it said 'no', then I asked again several months later when I had completed more than half of the project and the answer turned around. So, ultimately the first chart said that I would not complete within 3-6 months which was true. The second chart was also true because I did complete within 3 months of the second chart. The point of Horary is that it is only looking into the near future, not looking into the entirety of your life which is constantly in a state of change based on free will.

The ascendant is very early and therefore, this might also make this chart unreadable.

Early ACs ultimately say that we are really early in the life of the whole scenario. Many people find it pointless to read the chart at all because so much can change that ultimately the answer can change (and make their answer appear wrong in the end).

For any horary chart, it is better to see the AC roughly between 10-20˚ to be sure that it is neither too late nor too early. IMHO, any chart can give you info based on the scenario, so any chart can be read, but you must always check the AC to understand where you are at in the lifespan of the question.

Thank you! I did notice the early ascendant but decided to see if it was still valid. I definitely wouldn't receive my degree for at least 3-4 more years at this point. I suppose in six months I should ask the questin again but phrase it differently like: "Will I receive my bachelor's degree by 2019?" Maybe that will be better.

Thank you again

The thing that is concerning though, is that your main significator is Rx, indicating that there is a possibility you will change your mind. Saturn is aptly placed as well, in the sign of higher learning, in the house of the public eye and professional success... opposing Mercury.

You should be happy the chart is early, so there will be ample time for you to get yourself on course so that you can finish it...

I unfortunately change my mind about school all the time, but I am determined to finish. I'm so thankful for Saturn's position, but again it IS Saturn after all, so I don't expect anything to happen for awhile. I just hope I won't have to wait till I'm in my 30's to get a degree and have a job. I want to get a degree, have a job and move out and become an adult. I feel like I'm still such a child at my current age of 23. I'm not accomplished with anything because of my Taurus sun indicating laziness among other things in my natal chart

Just to let you know where I am from and in Europe in general lots of people go to school in their 30's, no one looks at you in a weird way...however I heard in America its not that common and most people graduate at 22...so I understand the societal pressures to finish early! But we don't have that problem here. For example my boss is 37 and just finished her Bachelors and is starting her Ph.D. this year.
