I'm meeting a guy for the first time for a date on Thursday and I'm wondering if he'll think I'm fat. I'm freaking out because I've gained 18 lbs. I'm 5'3 and 118 lbs..

Do I use the 6th house since this is a health-related question??

118lbs in the UK is 8 stone?
That is not fat. Not even in the slightest.

I am just worried that he might think that though... Some guys like really skinny girls and I'm just average, not stick-thin like I once was before I gained some weight.

Firstly, he has never seen your 'before' weight so this 'after' weight is all he will ever know. The issue lies with you and you can either strive to be 18 lbs less again or start loving the weight you are currently at. Bearing in mind that you are still quite young (23?), you're body is still probably going to undergo a few more slight changes.

Secondly, I'm going to say this... If he doesn't like you for who you are RIGHT now, then you are better off without him. You definitely can't go into a relationship caring so much about what the other person thinks of your body. It's your body. I'm sure guys prefer confidence over body type.

Good luck and be yourself x

Thank you. He doesn't seem like he's just into looks. He's so down-to-earth and he's actually so similar to me. We were born on the same day 5 years apart. He might be worried about his looks too haha.

I was going to say what Ikja said!

If you want to lose weight for YOU then do it. Don't do it for anyone else.

And, so, how did it go?! (I know... I super nosey! :P)

More guys seem to complain about women being too thin, rather than too average. Most guys tell me I need to gain weight when I'm at a weight I feel best/healthiest... Guys appreciate the curves more than we like to carry them...
