If anything, Mercury, ruler of (your) 5H, in your house, shows that there's someone else interested in you.

The romantic house for the "second person" is the 5H from their own house.
If the ex is Scorpio/Mars, then his new girlfriend is his 5H, Pisces/Jupiter, not Mercury

There's no true way to depict "love" specifically in a horary chart. We glean most of the information about the relationship from the planetary positions and whatnot. Midnight Venus said he still has feelings for you, so I suppose technically *yes* he still loves you. However, because your planet and his planet are not aspecting it is symbolic that you two will not reconcile despite his feelings.
