I am using the 10th for Clinton, but is that the wrong house? Anyone else want to take a shot? IP: Logged |

Interesting question, but I don't read whole sign charts... The chart you've created makes it really difficult to read - you have to guess at which houses things would be in if they are in a standard horary chart... You're almost guaranteed to miss things or screw up the reading. From what I can see, if you are using the 10th for Hilary, which seems a logical choice, then it pretty much says she has already won.... So, hmmmm.... Could be that her opportunity to win has already passed... However, the 10th usually represents someone ALREADY in power... so I think the 10th speaks of Obama... and now that aspect makes sense. Political 'contests' seem to pit the 7th against the 1st in horary charts, just like legal oppositions and other similar 'weighing the balances' of one against the other. Here is something that talks about that: https://www.light.org/Questions-Last-Six-Houses-SL091.cfm This page literally advises you to weight the west (right) side of the chart against the east (left) to find the winner. Hilary would be represented by Mars or Venus, depending. Since you asked the question, we should know whether Hilary is the one you are rooting for... (represented by the AC) "The first party mentioned, because the chief interest is in this party in the mind of the asker of the question, is represented by the east side of the chart, and the second mentioned party is represented by the west side of the chart.... When only one side of a contest is mentioned, the other side is nevertheless implied....A contest is really a 10th house question, because the victory, or honor, or credit, belongs to the 10th house. But the 1st house, representing the contestant himself, is also very important as indicating his luck and personal prowess. Therefore, in judging the relative power of the two sides of the chart, pay particular attention to the 1st and 10th where the first party is concerned; and to the 7th and 4th where the opposition party is concerned; for the 7th is the 1st house of the opposition, and the 4th is the 10th, or honor house, of the opposition." If she is the one you are rooting for, then she is represented by the AC lord (Venus) and her opponent by the DC lord (Mars). Mars is in Fall and combust. Venus is less than a degree from Jupiter. Venus is stronger at first glance. So, it looks like whoever you are rooting for has the upper hand. ETA: I would guess that the Moon, Obama (from one perspective), trines Hilary because that is his favorite for the win.
It is interesting that there is a grand cross as well as a grand trine. Should be an interesting election... IP: Logged |

Wouldn't you have to turn a chart for this kind of question?IP: Logged |

Yup! I thought of voting for Hillary for a while but now I find it irrational to vote for someone just because of their gender as much as I would love to see the first woman to be a president. Do you like her political views?IP: Logged |

I'm not sure who I'm voting for. All I know is that I will not stand for a homophobic racist. If Hillary proves to be the best choice than I will vote for her IP: Logged |

Oops didn't mean to come off as rude. I genuinely was asking the same question as sunascendant. (My comment wasn't aimed at you sun, had the "^^" And for an observation you have some pretty strong views, Seimei, that's why I was curious as to how you reached that conclusion. Like did you use tarot etc?IP: Logged |

A small group of remote viewers.but you can find similar ideas on youtube. I ponder whether this offline ruled group doesn't break their own rules. Ethically I cannot share more. You say strong views. I do not believe every synopsis I hear from them or that one particularly, but some seem to want/think we need more years of Obama. Either way whether I have strong views or not on something I have learned mine mean zero, lol. More sense to be concerned with my personal spiritual evolution then watching the political world and the powers that be. ------------------ Seimei, Jupiter Nadir IP: Logged |

Though it would be wonderful to have a female POTUS, I feel that America needs Bernie Sanders.Perhaps it's Hillary's time, but anything is possible with the Uranus-Pluto square in our skies.

I find this topic a very interesting, but the problem is that her time is birth is questionable. There are at least 3 or 4 birth-times going around, including "at the stroke of midnight." http://www.astro.com/astro-databank/Clinton,_Hillary I don't think we can get an educated guess without an accurate time of birth... For what is worth, the last 3 Presidents had either asteroid VICTORIA or asteroid TRIMF conjunct their MC/IC. Not to say that it's always this way, but I found that detail quite fascinating. Presidential horaries are tough and I've been meaning to practice them and read more to figure them out better. I do know that it's going to be a turned chart based on the role of that person. Hilary in this case would be 7th house and her opponents would then be the first house. If we were talking about Obama we would use the 10th because he is the president of the moment. His opponents would be the 4th. You want to really weigh the dignities and debilities with these kinds of charts. Another issue with horary for this is that it is a bit early - much can change and the chart is only good for 3-6 months. This election is Nov 8, 2016 if I am correct - so we are more than a year away from it. I know everyone wants to know the answer now but horary isn't likely to be accurate for something so far away. Let's come back to this question next spring/summer. Whole sign charts are not great for horary... very few people will touch them... Regiomontanus is the most widely read style of chart so it is the most appropriate if you are posting in hopes of having someone help you read it. PS: I'm rooting for Bernie too. Like Hillary but I don't think this is the best point in time for her. Bernie would be a very strong and honorable POTUS. Where there are Socialist leaders, one finds the happiest residents... time for that to become a part of the American dream, no? IP: Logged |

I ran my own chart and it showed a 3-person race in which she narrowly won. This chart drawing sucks. Never, ever use whole sign for horary. Ever. ------------------ Leo ♌️ Sun, (2nd House), Venus (3nd House) Scorpio ♏ Moon,Mars,Saturn (5th House) Cancer ♋ Rising Svātī Nakshatra IP: Logged |
