Topic: Will I be hired within a month? Help!

I'm a little stressed. I couldn't take all the BS at my job anymore. It was bad enough that it was affecting me outside of work, so yesterday I put in my two week notice. I am concerned but not because I have applied to A LOT of jobs online, but I also didn't keep track to follow up and it's been a week with no calls (except three - two were from companies eith vague positional descriptions and goals, and one was a physician's office I already knew would not work with my school schedule.) Yesterday I called a bookstore I'd applied for and he said it would be next week when he began taking interviews, so I am still holding my breath. I'm scared im going to be stuck financially for longer than a month. Can anybody help me and tell me if I will indeed get a long-term job within a month??  IP: Logged |

I heard that we look to the 3rd of the 10th for information about a job. That would be Virgo ruling 12H and Mercury being there (and I think Mercury is exalted here, but not sure how the 12H affects it) - does this mean anything significant to my question?IP: Logged |

I just got a call back from a job I applied for. The position is for a cashier at a grocery store, but I really want one at a local book store I applied to. Ugh. Can we separate "books" from "grocery store" in Horary to see if I'll get it? IP: Logged |

Hi Hanna... It doesn't really look good in this chart. But the thing to focus on is your main sig is at the same degrees as the NN (though you have true node and thats not as reliable as mean node), you are at early degrees, sun is right on the AC so you will be recognized, and the moon is about to change signs. Something about now is very fateful I think and things are about to change. Maybe it's not this job you will get but you will be recommended for another?IP: Logged |

Hey thanks! Since posting this I have had opportunities for several interviews but only went to one so far. The bookstore called and finally scheduled an interview with me (for tomorrow actually but they called last week). The other job I interviewed for would be at a much nicer hotel equipped with staff that pays. Both have their pros and cons but I would rather work at the hotel because of my experience and the pay. I think it's moving along slower than I thought but I'm trying to be patient. It's weird you said it's fateful because I feel like I'm extremely out of control right now with no real back up. Sure, I have interviews but those aren't offers. I wonder what will happen... IP: Logged |

Oh I thought maybe it was fateful whatever job I chose. I haven't had a break  My last day is this Saturday and I expect whichever job I pick to have me start asap. Maybe that won't be the case though. Won't the Moon just move into the next sign?

Moon doesn't really make any aspects here, but it does make a sextile with your MC in 2 counts, which in this case one could make an argument about a job as it is the MC. I don't remember how to determine days, weeks, or months anymore, but I'd say in the upcoming two weeks you will get a job. Also, I'm wondering about the Venus/Saturn square thoughts on what that could be? This may be stretching it though - keep us updated. Please do not quote. IP: Logged |

I just had the interview eith the bookstore, I SO want to work there but I was exhausted (just got off my other job) and I don't think I sold myself well. He said he had other interviews would let me know either way by Friday and in addition also asked if Ide be interested in seasonal work during the i terview.. which I take to mean I didn't get it. 😭😭😭IP: Logged |

I just drew a horary up and it had late degrees, no aspect between 10th and ASC. So I used 6th instead and got a sextile. Ugh this is torture! I don't want to go back to the hospitality life!IP: Logged |

So practical advice instead of astrological. Get yourself rested. Then go back to the bookstore and tell him that you would really like to work there and why. How it helps your future career goals, e.g. you want to be a publisher, you are a writer, etc. Even if it starts off part-time it is better then nothing. Or find another bookstore that you are interested in and sell yourself! Stop spending putting your energy into charts that do not help the practical side of the things, it is starting to stress you out and you can use the energy towards getting what you want. Though astrology and tarot are a great help, in the end it is up to us. Our actions can override even the best or worst of charts and readings. Ultimately I decided not to go because I didn't want to be annoying and overzealpus. He knows that job is my first choice and that I really want to work there because I told them in the interview, so now I'm just hoping. I have another interview with a hotel the following week though, and at least I have experience there and am more likely to get hired. In addition Im staying a week longer at my job now. Hopefully things will wrap up and progress...

I think its the moon and MC sextile in two counts - two weeks. You got it in about 13 days. You said you called on the 9th right and today is the 22nd. Moon always tells the narrative right?

I applied to the job later than the 9th but can't remember the exact date. So does two counts mean we count how many houses away from the MC it is? IP: Logged |
