Topic: Will I get my performing break in 2016 - Need help analyzing!

Can someone help me to analyze this horary?  Background is that I've been living in Europe, performing and auditioning for the past 5 months as an opera singer. I only really have this year of residency in Amsterdam doing this, so I need to find a break here, or head back to the states in the fall. Today I received a rejection from an opera audition I did last week (it was positive - they gave great feedback). In all I'm just looking for a little insight during this journey. The only thing I can think of is looking at the 5th house as representation for the performing arts, maybe 10th for fame. Venus and Saturn (you) are sextiling but separating indicating an opportunity has already come to pass. But Venus is in the 9th and well suited in Libra which makes me think perhaps you'll get another one traveling abroad?IP: Logged |

Makes sense since I am in Amsterdam and was just given that audition in Munich last week (which I was rejected, but the director wrote me complementing the performance overall. It was positive, regardless of outcome, and it was my first of that level experience). I am hoping for more opportunities and for someone to just give me a real YES so that I can start the next level of performing. Being a young artist has gotten super old... IP: Logged |

Unfortunately the AC couldn't be much later... It's in the final minutes, generally meaning things won't change for now. You likely already know this. Ask again in 3 months. ------------------

@apple, that actually kind of confused me, because this was my first major audition here - my first shot. I just got the news minutes before I posted the chart.So, if I'm not really going to get another break, it makes no sense for me to even be in Europe now. That's what is so alarming to me. I made a promise to myself that if this was not going to be a fruitful step in my career, I would head back to the states by march. So I very very much hope that's not my final chance - given it was my first chance to begin with. IP: Logged |

Somehow this take just lit a total fire under my ass tonight haha.I just reached out to a few different directors - one being the man who rejected me from the company yesterday - and landed a recital for February here in Holland. I absolutely refuse to sit back defeated while I am here in Europe. This has been a once in a lifetime year for me. RAWRRR!!!! IP: Logged |

Another meaning of late ACs is that you already know the outcome... I'm confused though... Did you get a break now?------------------

No. I just got frustrated by the analysis that the chances may be all done now, so I decided to take control at least to some extent and reached out to a colleague and we are doing a recital in Amsterdam in the spring. It's not a break, but at least lets me keep performing/ getting out there. I am still just an amateur trying to get seen and get a break into the world I feel ready for, but haven't been accepted into yet. I really don't understand the late ASC to be honest - nothing is late about any of this. I just started out in Europe haha. Just confused about the whole thing. IP: Logged |

Don't be sad about it... All things happen for a reason and the world is in a bad state right now... Everyone is suffering somehow... You should look at your solar return and progressions for some understanding about what is happening in your life right now and where you are growing or supposed to grow because of these circumstances... I know it's hard but your time will come... Just use this time to grow and experience so you have that much more to offer when that time comes...------------------
