I would love to read First Meeting Charts but so far I am just not good at it. :|

I met a guy three months ago; today I did a first meeting chart. According to this article http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum36/HTML/000721.html FMC applies to first three months so I decided to take a look at whether our relationship did go as FMC predicted. I read all notes from appleberry (Thank you a lot!) from topic above however I got lost.

Any help, feedback, thought would be appreciated!

Hey sweetie,

I've been looking at my own chart recently. It involved ALOT of research and the use of composite interpretation sites. However, I've been quite successful at understanding it and relating it to my situation with this particular person lol.

Will look into this later for you. But beware, I'm just going to throw a lot of random sentences at you though lol don't expect lengthy paragraphs - I'm not that good!

Can you tell me the time and date of this meeting? It helps to know the phase of the moon. Will be back by the end of the day (bearing in mind, it's 10:42am here).

P.s. I have no idea what happens after 3 months. Tbh, from what I've read, (even if the effects of a FMC do last longer) apparently good synastry can overcome the effects of a bad chart.

Xxx ❤️

Thanks, ikja!

Meeting took place on October 8th 2015 at 8:00 (according to astro.com = Univ. Time 6:00; Sid. Time: 8:03:38)

I would really like to learn to read FMC and I though what better way to examine your own FMC; turned out it isn't so easy to read it.

Right, LSR... This post is going to be a mixture of copying and pasting and my own interpretation. I am going to try and list sources where necessary for you to go and have a look:

Looking at the Ascendant, at 23 degrees of Libra it is neither too late nor too early in degree. (When the Ascendant is in the last 3 degrees of a sign, the situation is considered to be similar to that of a Void of Course Moon—it is unlikely the undertaking will last or be of significance). Therefore, in this instance, the Ascendant is favorable to the desired outcome - http://www.cafeastrology.com/relationshiptimingastrology.html

After this, Cafe Astrology say that it is important to look at the phase of the Moon. You met when there was a Third Quarter Moon - This occurs when the moon's illumination is decreasing, Waning Crescent (www.yourdictionary.com/third-quarter-moon)

According to Cafe Astrology, as a general principle, starting a project or meeting someone with whom you want to start a long term relationship is more favorable during the waxing period of the Moon (from New Moon to Full Moon). You will want to conclude projects or do preparation work for a new project (not start a new one) during the waning phase of the Moon (from Full Moon to New Moon). Therefore, the phase of the moon wasn't favourable at the time of your meeting (http://www.cafeastrology.com/timingwiththemoon.html)

Despite this, the moon was in Leo at the time of your meeting, according to Cafe Astrology... Moon in Leo is favourable for creative activities, activities involving children, generous undertakings, undertakings in which personal recognition is desired, and risk-taking.

Using the Moon to see where a Relationship is Headed:

The condition of the Moon by sign, its first and last applying aspect, the phase of the Moon, and more can be used to predict where a relationship is headed:

The first applying aspect of the Moon in your chart is a slightly wide conjunction with Venus in the 10th house. This symbolizes a meeting where the couple felt at ease and comfortable with one another. There was likely consideration for one another's needs and desires. This was a very favorable start and there is a familiarity that is likely to continue throughout your relationship - http://www.cafeastrology.com/relationshiptimingastrology.html

The Moon's separating aspects offers information on what the individuals involved brought to the relationship—what the conditions were surrounding the relationship in the immediate past, and what kinds of relationship expectations were carried into the meeting (Cafe Astrology).

In this chart, Moon is separating from a trine with Uranus in the 6th house. This suggests that both of you were meeting with the hopes of finding a friendship or just for the sake of it. The relationship was not supposed to be a binding one (not destined for marriage) and neither party had hoped for this.

According to Cafe Astrology again, the Sun offers clues to the general nature of the new relationship:

* Sun is in Libra:
Balance relationship. Abhorrence of violence, cruelty and crudeness. Conflict unlikely. However, might be a relationship in which anger is suppressed as the lid put back on before all anger and tension is released, so there is destined to be conflict at a later date. May swing back and forth between rudeness and gentleness because of this - http://www.alwaysastrology.com/libra-sun-sign-personality.html

* The Sun in the 10th house forms a tight applying opposition to Uranus in the 6th house.

It's interesting that both of these houses are kind of like "work" houses, which suggests to me that the work environment/setting played a big part here:

* The Tenth House is commonly referred to as the House of Social Status. It is about the place we have attained in our social (or work/career) grouping and in society as a whole - http://www.astrology.com/article/houses-tenth.html

* The Sixth House: Work and service are central to the Sixth House. The focus here is on employment (employers and employees), training, those who serve us (along with those we serve) and those who depend on us - http://www.astrology.com/article/houses-sixth.html

According to a similar aspect between the two planets, it seems that you both had no expectations at the point of meeting. You expected to see each other occasionally (at work?) but nothing more - only when your schedules permitted. If these were/are not the expectations of one or both of you, the Sun opposite Uranus aspect might be considered a difficult aspect, and might symbolize a relationship that turns out to be erratic or undependable.

Looking at the planets on the angles.

* Uranus is closely conjunct the DSc in the 7th. The planet of disruption is hitting the spot that governs this couple’s partnership with others and their own relationship projections. With this placing, it is so important that each person has room to move. It will not be a conventional pairing; this could be a long-distance relationship, or there may something about it that flies in the face of what other people expect - http://sasstrology.com/2012/03/composite-uranus-relationship-liberator-or-destroyer.ht ml

Since this may be a love relationship, it is important to look at the condition of Venus.

* Venus is in Leo and forms an applying conjunction to Moon and Mars. It also forms an applying square to Saturn and opposition to Neptune. Taken together, these aspects suggest a romantic relationship (Neptune) that is both deep (Moon) and passionate (Mars). However, there may also be some lessons (Saturn) linked to it.

Looking at house emphasis.

* Most of the planets seem to be located in the Eastern Hemisphere - which suggests that there will be a lot of "going with the flow" - http://www.cafeastrology.com/articles/hemisphereemphasis.html and social expression will be important to both of you or you as a couple.

* Sun is in 12th house: In this relationship, many facets of your personalities that you would rather keep private may be revealed. Your relationship itself may be hidden from view or others may not know it exists at all. Therefore, perhaps this relationship will be a secret if it kicks off?

* Moon in 10th house: Others see you as a bonded, caring couple. You may often feel that the emotions between the two of you are "on display" in some way. They're hard to hide. Commitment to each other and dedication to your relationship are important for your sense of security as a couple. Others may influence or dictate the course of your relationship, you may allow yourselves to be overly swayed by others' opinions.

FOR MORE PLANET DESCRIPTIONS - SEARCH THE PLANET AND HOUSE LOCATION IN RELATION TO COMPOSITE CHARTS.

* The 11th house is also emphasized.
This allows the possibility of a friendship:
Mars here will allow for a dynamic interaction between the individuals and their friends.
* Jupiter here will allow you both to communicate in a clear and impartial manner - especially with friends and those around you.

This is as far as I have managed to get. Let me know if any of it makes sense. P.s. apologies in advance for any typos; I've copied and pasted in some places and the tenses my be wrong.

Thank you, ikja! I would have read it yesterday, but I fall asleep.

Out first meeting was totally unexpected and it involved a work place (no wonder that 10th and 6th House are involved in this!).

Moon-Venus conjunction would also make sense; we were really at ease and comfortable with each other also a feeling of knowing each other was there even though we haven’t met before… I believe that Uranus in 6th making aspect to Moon would manifest in a sense that neither I nor he expected for this meeting to happen; he was supposed to be somewhere else at that time and I also was supposed to be somewhere else but circumstances changed in last second. If they hadn’t changed, we would have not met each other.

About Sun in Libra; I really don’t like fight or to be in conflict with anybody. He also seems to be a very emotional person (for Taurus with moon in Pisces) and also doesn’t like conflicts. If they arrive, he can solve them very elegant (have seen this in person). Also having Sun in 12th would make sense (at least for me) since I really don’t like to show off my relationships/feelings to the world. IF anything happens between us, I am pretty sure, it will be unknown to ‘the world’ – unknown to his and mine co-workers, friends (at least at a very beginning).

We really didn’t plan to see each other more than at work but it all looks like we both would like to see each other more often.

When it comes to Venus I can clearly see how Saturn could work out; we both have Venus in an aspect with Saturn in our natal charts (I have conjunction, he has opposition) – so if anything happens between us, we both should learn a lot about loving yourself and loving each other. No doubt about it.

In a conclusion all I have to say is; you did a GREAT JOB here! Really amazing, how accurate you were!
