 I was having some fears about this due to a few things that have happened and I'm wondering if it will worsen/the pattern will continue so I've asked this question just now. I'm still learning horary and am hoping to help out on this forum. For now I'm posting this here to see what you think. It looks like it's a valid chart because of Mars on the ascendant. . Clearly it's addressing the potential for violence/emotional domination/abuse, yes? I wonder about orbs in horary... my mind is still trained on EVC's (event chart composites) which use extremely tight orbs. But with horary wide orbs are acceptable, yes? So it's concerning to see Jupiter (me, right?) square the 5th house ruler as so far we are still not committed completely although on the verge of it. I wonder if the chart speaks to that; as an affair the potential for abuse is higher but if it develops into a more committed thing certain issues might be c smoothed out? See, I'm worried that committing to him might get me deeper in. But really i think the present issues are due to insecurities and might be ameliorated by a firmer commitment.

Maybe since the wording of the question is directly about the relationship itself, we look to the 7th ruler mercury which is reasonably well aspected... save a quincunx from Saturn... and still in the 5th although about to move into the 6th and become concerned with that transition from love affair to committed partnership? Thanks for any insight you may have to share. I'm intrigued by Mars on the ascendant opposite Sun.. seems to describe the potentiality of the abusive situation but other aspects show harmony dominating the relationship--to me. Noticing Jupiter is in Virgo so not having such a great time (true), but empowered by Pluto in the 2nd meaning I can draw on personal respurxes and self worth will remain strong perhaps but with Saturn ruler of the 2nd quincunx Mercury maybe that'll be hard to see. Jupiter is also trine Mercury though (which represents the relationship/him if he commits? Possibly?) Jupiter is kind of trine Venus too--but opposite Neptune, meaning there's a willingness to be deceived or else an element of unconditional love there and spirituality... which there is... maybe both. Neptune is reasonably well aspected although the square from Saturn is harsh reality of heavheavy personal difficulty intruding from the 1st... I'm aware of the difficulties or maybe it shows that I'm projecting them, given Saturn is in the 1st square Neptune? Overall I'm somewhat encouraged by the chart... wonder what you think.. And Lilith at the midpoint of Jupiter and Saturn. He does have a pronounced tendency towards infidelity and personal Lilith issues/inclinations. I'm mostly ok with it but it does throw me for a loop. For one thing he's very mistrustful of me in terms of fidelity even though it's him who is at risk for it. IP: Logged |

Mars square Neptune=lying, cheating, subversive tactics...Although I'm aware Neptune isn't traditionally used in horary..

Lots of things aren't done in traditional horary that would apply now. There's a ton of asteroids in there so it's a little hard to read, BUT I believe I see Jupiter trining Pluto, and applying. Mars is in the 1st, so I'm leaning towards the ASC person becoming violent rather than experiencing the violence. If it DOES become violent a) call the police and protect all those involved ASAP and b) it will be delayed since Saturn is also in the 1st. Then again... Saturn is in the 1st which is mostly a nay answer.IP: Logged |

Thanks hannarama  Sorry about the asteroids--was a dumb oversight. I don't think it will become physically abusive, more in the emotional realm; and my worry is based partly on having been in such relationships in the past so I'm extra wary. I guess so far it has been me doing the door slamming etc. Saturn in the 1st being mostly a nay answer was something i was not aware of, seems somewhat simplistic but also makes sense. Looked into it some and found some things on the net which comfirmed my suspicion that it could be Saturn and Mars coming over to affect me, the querant... so back to wondering. Especially with his name asteroid conjunct Mars it seems that way..IP: Logged |
