I was reading a news article today (various articles) about a missing 23-year-old man up in Northern California that went missing this past Sunday with his dog. Yesterday (Monday) he sent his family a pic of him and his dog hiking. The article states that he was supposed to return home yesterday, but it's now over 24 hours later and neither him nor his dog has turned up.

I think I take him as the first house. He's Mars rx which goes direct next month on June 29th, and he's in his own first house. This suggests to me that MAYBE if he is dead he'll be found June 29th or around that date?

The 8th house ruler is Mercury retrograde which doesn't aspect him/Mars. Mercury is also turning direct this weekend and Mercury is situated in the 7th house in a 4 degree APPLYING conjunction to the DC. Is his disappearance tied with a girlfriend? I haven't found any articles that mention anything about a gf, but you know that horary charts reveal things the media doesn't even know. Mercury will exactly conjunct the DC on Saturday May 21st and Mercury will go direct at 6:20 AM PDT on Sunday, May 22nd. Does this also mean he could be found on Sunday the 22nd?

He's a stranger so he'd be 3rd or 7th.

Hmm Venus/7th house ruler is separating from a conjunction to Mercury/8th house ruler. Venus is also conjunct the DC/the quesited's first house. Is he dead along with whoever Mercury is (his dog maybe.. or someone else)?

Er...Venus doesn't look conjunct to me.

But Venus is sextiling Chiron so he's hurt most likely.

Oh you're right, it's not conjunct. Yikes I hope it's just a sprained ankle and nothing deadly.

He and the dog were found alive! Also, as if by serendipity, he was found 72 hours to the minute after sending his last text to his family. I'm sure if I knew the exact minute the text was sent then astrology would have predicted him being found exactly 72 hours later. There are no accidents. Horary has already long proven that to me. His dad's name alsp happens to be Howard according to the article, which is my dad's name. I think I was meant to take an interest in his thankfully short disappearance even though I don't know him. Thank god he's home!
