I cast a chart asking if my online friend still cares about me... not romantic at all now but he hasn't done what he usually does to let me know for a month or so.

I'm not sure what to use as his sig, but I picked 11th house first. I'm Moon and Mars receiving Saturn, and Saturn is in Sagittarius my 8th, his turned 10th. What's funny is Jupiter also rules my 6th of work / health, and I wondered if that meant he's just more focused on work right now, or his everyday life. I know he's much busier now than in previous years.

Saturn is separating from the ASC, and Sun is making an opposition (but applying).

Meh, I'm seeing this as a no. Anybody else think the Moon / Mercury application counts or no?

Moon is in 26 degrees so just almost close to changing signs, and will move into Aquarius - THE sign of change! With Moon ruling my 4th house I wonder if there will be a random sign letting me know (Moon is the carrier of messages as well, but I'm not sure it can be both in a horary).

Ok so I am NO horary expert, but I can look at it intuitively and tell you. I'm usually fairly accurate...
my answer is he's not thinking of you right now. He is very self absorbed BUT that will change in about 4 weeks time. He will dip back in . He does still care and wish to continue speaking.

Thanks! Even if you're not an expert, what made you think that?

Well, I've always thought that Pluto is typically disregarded in horary. BUT , we see Pluto (conjunct I believe ) the moon, therefore in my opinion, it is to be used. I see this as a strong indication that regardless of circumstance, there is a "longing" this person feels for you. You fill an emotional void. It also looks like said person is in a bad place emotionally.

Now, when I look at horary, I see astrological symbols and just pick up a story...does that make sense?

I guess we all have different gifts..

Yeah, that's kind of how I read horary too. And you're right, he's usually in a bad place emotionally given he's got a Capricorn moon. He has depression / anxiety.

YIKES! That's a rough placement for the moon. Almost as bad as Libra! LOL

You for sure are better in horary then I am, but if my opinion is of any help to you, I think he is just prioritizing his work first right now which has nothing to do with you or him not caring for you (I would also pick 11th House for him ergo he is Saturn, positioned in Sagittarius – therefore Jupiter should also be taken in “calculations” ).

Mercury/Moon application to me does not necessary mean clear “YES”. To me it looks more likely that circumstances will provide you with the opportunity to see why he isn’t in contact with you right now. Does this make sense to you?

All in all I don’t see a “NO” in your horary, just his business related to his work (or his daily routine).

This will probably be off topic , but my sister has this position of the Moon. And what I discovered is that when she feels down or depressed, she must “turn to her Jupiter placement” in order to bring her in positive mind-set again. Her Jupiter is in 5th House and therefore she needs to do something connected to creativity – she dances. She isn’t professional dancer but she has natural talent for dancing and when she starts to dance her mood changes instantly.

Hey, you won't get better at something through just watching it right? I appreciate you and DreamCatcher's input.

Using him as the 11th works too, I just wasn't sure since this is someone I've never met in person. Came close but to no avail. In any case I do think he's a workaholic, but I know he's well liked and social too. Something about him being Saturn and the 11th though made me think "Well I wonder if he sees it as more of an obligation than something he likes doing" because Saturn is all about duty. So perhaps the affection between us is actually sterile and gone.

As for Moon in Capricorns, they're a fickle one in my opinion. Constantly between a rock and a hard place and they get put upon a lot. I'm glad your sister has an outlet! The blog him and I keep in touch on was kind of his, but he's perhaps moved on from that part of his life.

Looking at it with fresh eyes I think Moon and Pluto in his turned 12th says a lot.

I don't think that you should meet someone in person in order to be qualified as “11th House Friend” In my opinion friendships should be marked with 11th House no matter if you see this person daily or if you two only are pen pals… I think.

Saturn really is all about duty, responsibility. But I usually don’t see it simply as the “burden-bringer” so somehow I just can’t see Saturn here being indicator for “something sterile” or something that is already gone for him. After all Saturn also presents loyalty and Saturn would never just left the conversation before making the final statement – so I assume you friend wouldn’t just vanish for no reason or without telling you that friendship is over.

Interesting thesis on the Moon and Pluto in his turned 12th! Indeed worth researching it.
