Hi all. I am curious about the Solar Return chart producing events.

I've read several times that the Solar Return cannot give what isn't already promised in the Natal Chart. That makes sense to me, but I am wondering -

What activates the Natal Promise? Solar Return planets to the Natal planets? Or do the aspects within the Solar Return have to replicate the Natal chart's aspect?

I hope I am asking this clearly. TIA for feedback.
